Worst trash service I've ever had! Bill is at a zero balance with no interruptions or holds but yet still haven't picked up my trash in 3 weeks! Says everyday they will send a truck off cycle to pick it up but yet again they have forgotten my address because the trash is still here! 0/10 would NOT RECOMMEND!

My company has used republic services for a few years since they bought out the company I was using. Since republic services took over the service has been horrible! Useless salesman who don't answer the phone or get back to you. Horrible customer service!

This location IS NOT Republic Services. It's now occupied by Marshfield DPW. It gets 5 stars for the good job done handling early voting.

They were a good company a few years ago, I don't know what happened. Nearly my whole neighborhood used to use them.
First they were late on pick ups, then they were missing pick ups, eventually I was calling every week begging them to do their job. Trash piling up week to week became a regular challenge.
They also lock you in to a contract, which I since discovered their local competitors do not. So after I ran out the contract and ended service with them, they tried to bill me to come pick up the cans, which would've been fine if they'd been doing their job all along. So the last bit of joy you will have with these guys is their phone reps who will talk down to you, tell you they do not have the power to adjust a bill and that they do not have supervisors who would have that ability.
So whether you are in a contract or not they will charge you cancellation fees.
My new company is a local company, they show up everyday, nice and amenable, zero headaches. Republic Services is national. Maybe they're just too big to handle the job they've taken on and treat their customers respectfully.
Their social media may make it look like they are great people saving the planet, but you really should look elsewhere for curbside pickup.

My experience with Republic has been absolutely terrible. They have missed picking up our trash and recycling two of the last three weeks. It took a week and three calls and an online report to get them to pick it up last time, which meant they just came when they were supposed to. Calling tomorrow to cancel my service. They are truly awful.
Update: two months after canceling my service, they still haven’t picked up their containers despite multiple calls to them and multiple promises that they would be picked up. Please do not give them your business. They are truly the worst company I have ever dealt with for any purpose in any business.

UNBELIEVABLE! How did this company receive 1.4 stars!? They should receive a negative 1M! So painful to click the 1 star just to be able to post comment. They are the #1 company when it comes to missed pickup, frequent "equipment failures", promises to pick up the missed pick up and don't, take your recycling bin and don't give it back and lying ("escalation" status to prioritize your issues doesn't mean anything, ask for a callback number just to not call you back). Your pick up day is never the day your are scheduled. You'll just have to wait and pray the animals don't get into the trash and have to clean up the mess before they come. The new decor on your front lawn will consist of trash and recyclables until they decide to pick it up. If you want to pay for this kind of service, by all means sign with Republic Services. I guarantee you will experience all that I've listed and most likely MORE!

I cancelled my service and requested my barrels be picked up on July 1, 2018. My recycling barrel was picked up in August and my waste barrel is yet to be picked up. I have called at least 15 times and get the same story, your area is experiencing a delay.

I'm a business customer. Upon receiving a third rate increase this year, I called customer service. The billing person couldn't help, but said she would "escalate" my case and that I'd receive a call back from a sales person to talk about my "contract". Today was my third phone call to RS. Again, got the "escalation" assurance. In the meantime, if I don't pay the rate hike, I get penalized. I wish I could be so crappy to customers and still have them!

No consistency in picking up trash. Every week I get a call that due to equipment failure trash will not be picked up. I canceled the service and they still have not collected their bins. Awful, awful service.

I echo what everyone else here has said. They miss pickups all the time and I end up with trash sitting around in the garage most weeks. When I called for a pickup after they hadn't made one in some time, they said they couldn't have anyone out until the following week. Also, if you need to call for anything (which most likely you will), you will be on hold for about 20 minutes. Today, they were supposed to drop off a recycling container per my call to them last week and they didn't bring one. Service is terrible.

This company is awful. I was with them for only 3 months and just recently canceled. Numerous missed pickups. Do not sign on with Republic. They are the most incompetent trash pick up service in the US

Pickups are supposed to be on Thursday they never show up on Thursday.
