Now that prices are up for recyclables, do you think it could be done for free, again? Nope..... not now that they are profiting from it. When it was just the "dump", the seagulls ran it better than the rude, $Million$ crew that works there today

Not the best, but certainly the most expensive on Cape Cod. We don't even get a swap shop! Where does the money go? Shame on our Town Manager and BOD for not being more fiscally responsible.

Transfer station is well planned. Occasionally I'll interact with staff for things outside of normal routine. They are always pleasant and helpful. Thank you

The transfer station is well organized in terms of finding where items need to be deposited. We have found the staff to be very helpful over 22 years we have lived on the Cape.

Just got yelled at by dump worker for taking 2 shovels of dirt! He almost ran me over with his orange golf cart! What a dick!(The dirt/salt is for the residents, pay $400 a month to live here in taxes)It is literally a pile of shitty dirt(I guess dump workers are empowered from the pandemic too!)Lmfao!

The women who answers the phone is nasty and not helpful. I think her name is Patricia.Called because my parents own a home in Centerville. My dad passed away and my mom has dementia and now lives with my in the Boston area.I want to get rid of some bags of clothing, cardboard and other stuff. You think I was trying to break into the Federal Reserve Bank.I was trying to explain to this woman that I have my parents tax bill, but that my dad's car that is in my mom's name, has my address because that is where the car is garaged.Tax bill not enough because my name is not on it. Power of Attorney stating that I have full control of all my mom's affairs, not enough.Really, I need to get a copy of the deed. Not, oh sorry your dad passed away and how can I help you.Don't worry Patricia, I'll get a copy of the deed. Can't wait to meet you.Rating is zero.

Updated 9/4/2020 -- Unfortunately, town residents can't recycle here for free any longer. The Transfer Station and Recycling Center is a town enterprise that has to operate at least at breakeven and it's getting difficult or impossible to cover costs with the funds the town gets from selling recycled paper, plastic, cans, cardboard, etc. So now you need to purchase a sticker to access the complex that will cover residential trash disposal (garbage) and recycling. The recycling part of the enterprise is still well handled, IMHO. And most folks are keeping socially distant, masking, etc. Just like everywhere else, there are always a few who are less observant of those safety measures.
