Michelle, Doreen, and the whole staff at Capeway Cleaners have been absolutely amazing! They are always so kind and have smiles on their faces. They’ve got an amazing organizational system and I’ve been a customer here for a few years now. Best laundry / cleaning specialists on the Cape!

The people who work there are always very helpful and friendly. The quality of the work is far superior to the other dry cleaners I’ve tried.

There turn around time was a bit lengthy. 2 weeks for a comforter but they did a great job on it and it came back a day early .

Not the place I want to return to. The first time I attempted to drop off items there, they were closed, despite it being during their posted open times. When I did manage to drop off my clothing and received it back, there was a button missing but honestly the whole place seemed a little sketchy so I decided it was better to leave with my stuff than get into it.

They went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. They sent someone to open the store after it had closed so I could pick up a suit for a wedding. Very impressed with their customer service.

I have been using this dry cleaner for years, although I have no idea why. It is close to my house and convenient since I go to Roche Brothers next door very often. Every time I walk in I try to be pleasant and friendly, since I go every week and I believe people should be treated that way. The woman who works there is always very abrupt and rude and seems angry about doing her job. She is working in the service industry and clearly has never been taught appropriate customer service behavior. I do not want to get spoken to harshly if one of my shirts is not unbuttoned, now do I want to listen to someone complaining about how busy they are and how inconvenient it is for them to do their job.

Either we hit this place -- twice -- on the wrong day or these other reviews are from family/friends. We moved here a few months ago and received two $5 coupons for this cleaner -- along with a long list of their skills and attributes ... motivation enough to visit a place that isn't the closest. On my first visit an elderly, vacuous woman behind the counter looked at my huge pile of dry cleaning with disbelief. We established that I was a new customer and she took in the prerequisite information. She found it hard to fathom and compute that I had a phone number that didn't start with "508." I showed her my coupons and she quickly found a pair of scissors to cut them into proper form. Upon her return she explained that I could use "this one" now and use the other "on the next visit." Getting a bad vibe I asked her to please define "a visit." Could I walk out the door and return right away? Did I need to sit in the car for a period of time? Go to Roche Bros. next door (now THEY know customer service) and buy some produce? Could I break my large pile of pants and shirts into two piles (mixed? Pants-only?) and consider each one a separate order and, therefore, a unique visit? "The next time you're here" was all she could muster. Ah, she didn't take the bait to redeem both coupons for an order that will surely exceed $100. So much for a hearty new-customer welcome. Her training must have taken all of 60 seconds. Please tell me she's a family member and that this isn't someone who applied for a job, was interviewed and selected from the local labor pool. Finishing up with her I asked if this place, as did our last dry cleaner, offer a senior discount. I mentioned that I was 66. And that Dunkin Donuts, the movie theaters and the MBTA all considered me a fully-qualified senior. "You'll have to ask the owner," my angel behind the counter countered. Another training session missed, apparently. I left with a few pairs of pants. For my next visit. Determined not to be screwed by The Man, on the next day my wife took in the remaining pants and our remaining coupon. An. Elderly. Man. Was. Behind. The. Counter. And. He. Moved. At. Glacial (pre-warming). Speed. A 60-second transaction stretched to the better part of 8 minutes. (I have to wonder if this guy was channelling Tim Conway.) Was this the oracle who my angel described as the manager? Not sensing any manager-ly characteristics, my wife didn't ask as she had to get on with her life. I pick up the laundry today. Angel took down my email to alert me when my order was ready. That was supposed to be yesterday. No email so far. Stand by.
