I was able to pop by on a Saturday, get some clear recommendations from Kathy, and place an order that day.

Ron and Rob showed up to deliver both the washer and boy, let me tell you: these two are great. They take real pride in their work and were such a pleasure to work with. They removed the old units, cleaned up the laundry alcove, capped the gas line, and installed the new units.

“Yesterday I bought an R25S Riccar vacuum to replace an ancient Electrolux which needed repairs again. I had an extensive and very informative conversation with Ray about brands and advertising and marketing which was very helpful in helping me choose a brand I had never heard of. Ray’s knowledge of the full range of vacuums out there and how they are made really helped me with my decision. I also got my old Electrolux repaired to serve as a backup/extra. We all know we could go to Best Buy or Walmart and buy something cheaper but I felt that dealing with Acton Vacuum was a better use of my time and money. Thank you Ray.”

“We recently completed a major renovation in our home and worked with Riverbend and their partners (contractors) for installation. Our kitchen was outdated, our first floor had 4 different floorings and we just needed a re-do! The renovation included flooring on our entire first floor, complete renovation of our bathroom and kitchen.

We are in love with the results. The cabinet options were great - - and we went with Omega (maple) in Beach house (peripheral upper and lower cabinets) and Desert (for the island). We chose Quartzite countertops and had a great experience with the selection and installation processes. Have I mentioned our floors?? OMG - we selected quartersawn oak and went with a natural finish. They are stunning!! Donna was spot on with her recommendation for the flooring. We wanted something different for the powder room and went with a checkboard type look in tumbled marble. It's just gorgeous. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that we are very happy with the outcome. Our renovation was long overdue...we put it off for a bit too long but now that it's done, we are so very pleased with the results. We love our new appliances as well - all by Miele. The oven/range cooks unlike any other appliance I've ever owned. Far superior to the more common brands. Donna also recommended a speed oven for us when I mentioned how I always wanted two ovens but didn't have the space in my kitchen. She incorporated it into the design and we love that it can operate as our microwave and as an oven. It's simply AWESOME. “Independent dealer of major brand appliances and related equipment. Very knowledgeable sales persons help customers choose products. Very experienced service department to service what they sell as well as service to folks in general. Delivery folks are experienced, careful, respectful of property and ensure customer satisfaction. Installation was quick and professional. All packaging was taken away with a smile. We tipped the crew leader with enough to buy the three of them lunch we were so pleased with them overall.”

“While the Watertown store is so much closer for me, it is chaotic in there and West Roxbury is often the same. Since I was in Natick anyhow, I stopped in on a weekday around 10am to get one of those mesh screen door things that you walk through (it actually works, not bad for $15). Masks and sanitizer at the front door for anyone who needs/wants it, and I wandered around looking for the item (for whatever reason, the aisle/bin number wasn't online). After I gave up wandering, I flagged down Bruno who found it for me (thanks Bruno!) and headed to the self checkout. Only negative to the in-store experience was the woman in charge of this area: having someone who is friendly would be a bonus. I can't imagine the parking lot on weekends, so go on a weekday if you can (or right when they open on Saturday and Sunday). The entrance/exit onto Speen St has a traffic light and the Route 30 exit is right-turn only (unless you want to just take a left anyhow). HD stores are dog-friendly as well!!”

“I was there today at Natick store. Natick is very far away for me from Lexington. But they have great vanities with stone like counter top all the time. The other store will tell me the store model is not for sale. Now I know why. The guy from plumbing department helped me to find a replacement for a missing mirror, took me to the manager for price adjustment , disassembled the vanity from the rack & the floor and helped to put it on my car. What a efficient service. All the people there I met today are super nice and friendly!”

“I scheduled an appointment to have my fireplace changed from a wood burning one to a gas fireplace. The owner Larry was quick to respond by coming out to see it in person and was easy to work with. He provided us some design ideas that worked well with our other décor. We are very satisfied with the outcome!”

“I still make a lot of major purchases at Best Buy because if you use their credit card you essentially get 12 - 24 month financing. Over the past two years I have purchased a TV, desktop PC and refrigerator. I have never had an issue with Best Buy in my 25 years of shopping here. I see a lot of negative reviews about items they bought there that have broken. Whether it be someone who did not try to return the item within 30 days to someone who expects to get a new item months down the line when they did not buy an extended warranty. I don't believe all extended warranties are worth it but some certainly are.”
