“The store is one of the very few Miele authorized dealers in my area, so I don’t have much choice. I’ve been buying here my applances for the last 20 years. I do my research online so I don’t need much assistance in the store. I’m generally very satisfied with one huge exception: the cost of installation. They offer only one contractor, which also delivers and takes out the old stuff. 10 years ago it costed $160 and involved the hook-up, a few hours job. This year I simply replaced an old dishwasher with the new one, reusing all connections. It took 30 minutes and the charge was $350, with additional 4% if paid by credit card. That’s outrageous!”

“I called them to inquire about replacing the glass cooktop on our electric range and they got back to me quickly. They provided a very itemized quote (part cost, shipping and tax, repair cost, etc.) and included the cost of replacing the whole range so we could make an informed decision about whether to proceed with the repair. In further conversations, I was encouraged to call the manufacturer again (we'd gone down this road without luck) and we were able to have the cooktop replaced at no cost through the manufacturer with this guidance. Truly stellar customer service from Joanne and Pam! That said, I'd happily purchase an appliance from Automatic Appliance Service in the future and/or consider them for repairs. I feel like it's unusual today to find such incredible customer service AND honesty and professionalism in a company.”

“What a store! This is a real American mans heaven on earth. When I die take me to home depot in Marlborough Massachusetts. ELECTRIC! All the wood I could ever ask for and the associates are not handsy or flamboyant. The Johnny Cash flowing over the radio got the mood RIGHT! Not to name names, but this store sure is a lot better than some OTHERS in the area. Gets the night going! I love beer, trucks, women and HOME DEPOT!Could use a store cat, Dale Greenland”

“My wife and I decided to do a complete renovation of our 35 year old house, and that included a showcase, professional, high preforming kitchen, and a high quality washer and dryer.Dave at RiverBend helped us select manufacturers and specific models of appliances. He steered us away from products that were no longer as reliable as they had been in the past.We decided to get mostly Miele products and SubZero fridge and freezer. They seem amazing.Throughout the long project Dave worked with us right through installation. He even helped us get the rebates that Miele was offering.We will be moving back into the house in two weeks and can't wait to use the appliances in our dream home.You can't trust Dave and RiverBend with your big projects.”

“I would highly recommend Acton Vacuum & Appliance! I went there twice before making my final purchase, speaking to Jeff and Ray, who were both super knowledgeable about the entire Miele product line. On the second day, Ray helped me figure out which model best fit my needs/budget, and he was able to offer me a package deal worth $175 in savings -- this is something neither the Miele online store nor Amazon can offer you. I tried to research the Miele products online, but the information you can find on the internet is nothing like coming into the store, demoing the vacuums, and asking these guys your questions (including insights on maintenance/operation). So glad I came here!”

“Last Saturday, my 6 month old washing machine & dryer stack-em unit stopped working. At the time, I had a new home health aide operating the system.She told me while doing a wash cycle, the washing machine stopped working and she smelled smoke from what she thought was an electrical fire. She decided to unplug the machine and restart the cycle.I asked her if she overloaded the machine, and in any event told her to turn the machine off while I called Hunter Appliance to have a service technician to come to my home to inspect the unit.When I called Hunter Appliance, from whom I purchased the machine, Jimmy told me he would schedule a service call for Monday January 29. He told me that the service department had only one technician but he was on vacation, and would not return until Monday 29.The technician did come to my home on Monday and ran tests to ensure that everything was in working order, handed me the Service Order which indicated “no charge.”Under the circumstances, Hunter Appliance went above and beyond to fix my problem, and I highly recommend them for all appliance and servicing needs.”

“I'm not a plumber, just a guy who lives close to the store and hates Home Depot. The store is really for pros, but when I go in they are still really helpful. I try to go in when it's loaded with plumbers, but as long as I do that and keep the really stupid questions to a minimum they are fantastic to deal with.”

“While the Watertown store is so much closer for me, it is chaotic in there and West Roxbury is often the same. Since I was in Natick anyhow, I stopped in on a weekday around 10am to get one of those mesh screen door things that you walk through (it actually works, not bad for $15). Masks and sanitizer at the front door for anyone who needs/wants it, and I wandered around looking for the item (for whatever reason, the aisle/bin number wasn't online). After I gave up wandering, I flagged down Bruno who found it for me (thanks Bruno!) and headed to the self checkout. Only negative to the in-store experience was the woman in charge of this area: having someone who is friendly would be a bonus. I can't imagine the parking lot on weekends, so go on a weekday if you can (or right when they open on Saturday and Sunday). The entrance/exit onto Speen St has a traffic light and the Route 30 exit is right-turn only (unless you want to just take a left anyhow). HD stores are dog-friendly as well!!”

Nancy the customer service person really went out of her way to help me locate the chairs. Home Depot only had 2 grey available then I would have to order 4 more. It just made sense to just place the order through customer service for all chairs. Nancy stayed with me through the whole order just making sure I got what I wanted. “I was there today at Natick store. Natick is very far away for me from Lexington. But they have great vanities with stone like counter top all the time. The other store will tell me the store model is not for sale. Now I know why. The guy from plumbing department helped me to find a replacement for a missing mirror, took me to the manager for price adjustment , disassembled the vanity from the rack & the floor and helped to put it on my car. What a efficient service. All the people there I met today are super nice and friendly!”

“I first went to the Leominster Home Depot with a broken miniblind. The man in flooring told me it was an irregular size and the miniblind cutter was broken. So I went to Marlboro. Due to road closures for a Labor Day parade I got lost. I called and the staff were so patient and stayed on the phone with me over 6 minutes until I got on the right track. Once I got there the woman in flooring was great. It turns out the miniblind is a standard size and I travelled all the way here wasting 2 hours of my time and a quarter tank of gas due to incompetence in Leominster. I wish I lived closer to this location as it would be my go-to store. They know what they are doing.”
