I heartily dislike CVS because they auto-refill prescriptions after I ask them not to, trying to push me to refill prematurely. Their on-line website often shows a TX pharmacy instead of my local MA location & don't know all of my prescriptions. The drive-thru employee accepts new prescriptions from a driver ahead & then lets that driver (& me) wait while they fill them, instead of asking the driver to go around & get in line again, thus forcing other drivers to wait unnecessarily.

Option for Drive up is a big plus

I live nearby and frequent this CVS. They have a lovely core staff (store, not pharmacy), full time folk who have been there for years. Hate on CVS the corporation, not the employees. That's why i give 4 stars instead of 2.

Expect the drive through to be closed due to staffing and when going in like the sign suggests to be greeted by just a pharmacist or a pharmacist and tech to help 20+ people at once on the weekends.

Pharmacy is very busy. They should have more people working there. Normally, you have to wait, sometimes, a lot to be attended.
Other than that, it is ok.

The vehicle in front of me was drive thru. I had to wait 19 minutes before they left. I was very angry and complained to the girl at cvs. She told me they had a problem with their prescription and I said I don't care if there is a problem with their prescription they need to go in the store. People should not be able to hold up the line because of a problem. Also if people need to speak with a pharmacist they need to go in for that too.

They never have enough people working (with customers) at the pharmacy so there’s always a long line. There is one woman who works there who is always chomping on gum. Once, with me, she took it out of her mouth with her fingers, then proceeded to handle my prescription. Yuck! And they are rude! And they don’t answer the phone! I am writing about the Maynard CVS.

Very understaffed with waits and lines spanning 10 to 15 mins without acknowledgement or service. I have watched the 3 people in front of me leave from waiting in Line so long without so much as a \"hi well be with you in a moment\"

Staff is great by it'd be great if management a few levels up could approve a few more of them, like one or two more for the pharmacy and one for the front checkout. But staff they do have do a heroic job.

Have been consistently understaffed and folks that are staffing seem so overworked that they are often rude to customers. There is one tech (non-pharmacist) who regularly barks at me - but seems congenially enough with his colleagues. They don't have enough folks to answer the pharmacy phone, so if you have a question good luck. If there is a problem with your prescription you have to leave one line and go stand in another line of people so they can use the correct computer - I get the need to use a different system, but when I've just stood in line for 20 minutes with an ansty child at the end of the day - instead of just barking at me to go to another line maybe go over to that computer WITH ME and solve the problem vs. making me wait another 15 because there is an error in YOUR system. Their system doesn't seem to sync properly with the CVS corporate app/systems. I frequently have issues with insurance information (even though calls to my insurance company shows no issue on the insurance end), refills flagged in the store system as filled and on the app showing as refillable (app was correct), they even delivered a number of my prescriptions to our old address (got an email that this was the case) and then denied it when I asked to update the address for the THIRD time. CVS mobile app is great - CVS corporate stuff seems to work really well - it's just this particular Pharmacy which seems to have issues. We are switching to a store with more congenial employees who are responsive, kind, accountable and actually care about their patients.

There are not enough staff here. The lazy customers at the drive-thru window always get preference for Rx pickup over people who actually make the effort to enter the store. You will NEVER reach anyone by phone, don’t even bother trying.

There is a woman who works at the pharmacy who always chews gum. I've seen her take it out of her mouth with her fingers and then touch prescription bottles. Disgusting and obviously unsanitary. She's also rude. The lines are long at this pharmacy; they should hire a few more (non gum-chomping) people...

Typical CVS. This one located in downtown Maynard. If you know where you are going, it can be pretty easy to get in and out of the parking lot. If you don't, then you will end up driving in circles on one way streets. Lines were ridiculously long. No service staff to be found. But on Feb 25, all VD merchandise was 75%off. Hello sugar high.
