Kind Goods is a gem in the area and has everything you could ever want or need when shopping for a treat for yourself, a gift for pretty much any occasion (host gift, holiday, birthday, just-because, etc) and for all of the people in your life. Kind Goods is more than a shop - the owner, Michelle, is exceptionally thoughtful, caring, and spoiler alert… KIND! She goes out of her way to get to know her patrons on a personal level, remembers little details so well that she can curate the perfect gift for them. That alone is more than enough to make me feel good about giving the shop my business, but on top of it, she sells goods that are thoughtfully crafted, fair trade, sustainable, made locally or in small batches AND she makes sure her staff are well taken care of. It’s rare to find any one of those things these days but you can truly find all of that here. If I ever need a pick-me-up, even just walking through the shop makes me feel lighter because it’s so gorgeous but it doesn’t hurt to stumble upon your new favorite mug, candle, blanket, art print, etc. either! 🤍

Kind Goods is a gem of a store in Maynard, MA. The owner curates a beautiful array of goods from household goods to personal care to art to jewelry and more. The owner also creates her own line of pottery that is unique, beautiful and made on site. The real star of this store is the owner herself and her employees. As soon as you walk in, you can feel the warmth and kindness. They are always quick to lend a hand to help you curate a gift or let you browse on your own and discover all of their offerings. I always leave there with something and a feeling of happiness.

This is hands down my favorite local shop I've found. I've gotten myself little treats and gotten gifts for basically everyone at this place. The owner is so incredibly kind and truly cares about her community. The goods are always carefully curated and have such a wonderful story behind them. Anytime I have friends visiting I bring them buy to peruse what's new. Highly highly highly recommend 🥰

Discovered this shop in November, and have made it a point to return twice, most recently for a small, in person, ceramics class. The owner, Michelle, is present in her shop, passionate about being a supportive and contributing community member, and is a wonderful artist. So many beautiful local home goods to be found. Michelle and her staff always ensure you feel welcome and ready to assist with shopping suggestions! Absolutely worth driving the 40 minutes to downtown Maynard!

I follow KG on Instagram and love the items she carries. Can't wait to stop into the store in person! . In the meantime, I will buy online from her until I can get over there. The owner is very thoughtful and has a beautiful eye, and is very mindful about the product she selects. Everything is special and beautiful. It's definitely on my to-do list to get over there in person this Spring! Shop local! I'll write more after I can go into the brick and mortar shop

My favorite stop in Maynard! Michelle carries such a variety of useful and well sourced items - from household goods to beauty care to ethical clothing. Kind Goods is my go-to location for gift giving, and I always find something I can’t resist for myself too :) Highly recommend signing up for a tray making class as well for some more personalized items. How does this spot only have 1 yelp review? I mean yes, yelp kind of sucks but I am here to tell you how beautiful and precious this shop is. Michelle curates the perfect selection of gifts, clothing, jewelry and house wares. She's a pillar of the community and makes everyone who steps inside her shop feel like a friend. Shop here always but especially if you love supporting small women-owned businesses and makers.
