There was no sign on the door so I addressed it with the owner about it not being good/safe business to allow people in without masks. A sign has since been posted.”

“This spirits store in a small shopping area in Acton Massachusetts is a real gem. Tim is the manager and always cheerful. His staff is very knowledgeable. I usually go in for wines, and the ones they have are vast from all over the world. My latest purchase was from South Africa: a women-owned company called HER. Colonial had several varietals in that label. They also have an amazing assortment of beers. I know they have wine tastings, but I have never been to one. Their ad in our free weekly circular always has unusual wines. A very good & friendly/helpful place to expand your palate!”

“Nan’s is one of my favorite places of all time. The sandwiches are sublime.I’m going to talk about the barn burner sandwich. I’m a chili head and I’ve had the hottest chilis in the world including the mutant ones. I can eat normal 5 out of 5 spicy things without noticing. I noticed the barn burner. Normally people say ghost chili and they think about putting it in and that’s all they do. I’m looking at you Wendy’s and Trader Joe’s. Ghost pepper is one of the grossest peppers I’ve had the privilege of tasting and Nan’s expertise has made it taste lovely.On to the heat. I’m going to give it a 3/5 on my heat scale. One on the heat scale for me is 5 vindaloo at an Indian restaurant that knows me. 5 is super hots like ghost pepper/Carolina reaper. I cried and ended up in the heat plateau. It took about 5-10 minutes to get to full force as is common with these types of peppers. It was delicious and full of flavor. As I meditated on the mesa of schoville mountain I looked at the summit and decided this was a nice place to be. I really like this sandwich and I really hope that enough people join me here in the vortex of pain to keep it on the menu. There are very few places where I can get actually hot food. This is actually hot. Please Nan’s keep this on the menu or have some way of special ordering this if not. I’m going to send out the chili signal to the other crazy people so wet can come and feast upon this sandwich.I sneezed and my face is still burning delightfully. I love this.”

“I got the Angry Italian sandwich, which was delicious only they forgot the provolone. I asked for no mayo or mortadella so thats also why it looks a bit thin in the picture. I only wish I had asked for extra lettuce! My boyfriend got the Firehouse Smoked Turkey, his had provolone on it. Cashier was kind and let me know they were out of a couple things right away, which helped me choose my sandwich. We want to go back soon to try the meatball sandwich, and I'm going to give the Angry Italian another try! Can't believe I've lived here my whole life and haven't tried VinBin!”

“Just started back to work in the Framingham area so I figured I'd check this place out on my lunch break. I was immediately greeted by the person working (didn't catch his name) and when he saw that I was looking at the bourbon section he took the opportunity to talk to me about Bourbon and other whiskies. He was very knowledgeable about not only what he stocked but with Bourbon in general and you could tell that he genuinely liked talking to people and suggesting new things to try. Based on his knowledge of what they stock, what they plan on purchasing, etc I believe he was the owner, but I didn't have a chance to confirm that. After we finished chatting about bourbon, he took the opportunity to show me what he stocked for local craft beers as well as the expansive selection of wine. He was able to suggest a few bottles for my wife and she loved them so extra points on that! If you're in the area and want to stop by a liquor store where you can ask questions and have a great selection, this is your place.”

To say my wine knowledge has expanded from their deep selection and knowledge of the producers is a vast understatement. Regardless of your price range, they are clearly the best shop in this region, and dare I say, in any place I have been to in the US. “Boars head meats. Italian sandwich 7.00 and 1/2 lb of meat... had nice homemade cooked meatloaf's That smelled delicious while ordering my sandwich... I wish they had a meatloaf sandwich... a lot of home cooked meals, marinated steak tips, chicken , turkey etc...rotisserie chickens, and more... Next time I'll trying a small meatloaf... 7.99 a bargain for a meal for 2 people”
