Great place to get or keep in shape. Newer equipment and very clean. Good atmosphere with a broad mix of clientele... wide range of ages and abilities. Definitely fits with the PF "judgement free zone" ethic. Staff is friendly and helpful when needed.

Best option for where I live. But too often they don’t open on time because staff no shows. Also, I’ve never worked out somewhere with so many smelly people. Try showering and not wearing your sweaty clothes multiple days in a row guys.

The gym is wonderful, but the employees' commitment to the gym's opening hours is horrible. Many times they simply don't open the gym.

My only time to workout is first thing in the morning. Increasingly frequently, people fail to show up to open. It’s an hour after they were supposed to open right now and still the doors are locked. I am fine with the gym when it’s open, but I need to be able to use the gym during the hours they say they’ll be open. And it stinks getting yourself out of bed on a freezing cold morning only to find you did it for nothing.

Second time in recent weeks that I've shown up to this planet fitness during posted business hours, getting myself out of bed and here shortly after their 5 AM open time (like I do every day), only to find their slacker staff has slept in. Apparently, it's too difficult to unlock a door and turn on a light switch. This place is incredibly unreliable, they don't fix broken equipment and I'm fed up with it. Get your act together!DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!!

Often the men’s changing room is filthy. I have had to snort more than one workout because the employees were no shows for the opening shift.Needs better staffing. I have had to leave and not be able to use the Blackcard area because there was not any staff to check me in.Update…now the 3rd or 4th time I have gone here 1st thing in the am and there is no one here to open the gym. Ridiculous.

I'm a big fan of Planet Fitness. I go to the one in Maynard Massachusetts mostly. it's a great price for a full service exercise facility. I appreciate how clean they keep it how easy it is to enter and they have everything you need. Any TV show that I want to watch while I'm exercising is on one of those screens. my favorite part are the heated liquid beds and the massage chairs!!

It is not specific to maynard club - this is about strange requirement from planet fitness , to go to the club to cancel membership. They don’t have problems people signing up online but can’t accept people terminating online -

They charged me on Monday after I canceled my membership on Sunday. When I called up they said they can do nothing about it. I see similar comments in the past and absolutely zero customer service.

I bring a client here and the staff is beyond nice. They know my client’s name, greet him, and have been super helpful to this not very tech savvy coach! Love how it doesn’t feel crowded, but not gigantic.
