So happy with experience and our dog Luna's wash. Most of all I'm appreciative of the kind approach to our pups nervousness. She's a new to us dog that likely had only one other wash in her 4 years of life when she got to the shelter that rescued her. She looks great and is nice and fluffy.

I love this place. Very professional, and the outcome is always impeccable. I have a standard poodle - quite a challenging job, and they do it with precision...and a smile.

"Scrub a Dog: where the customer and the dog are always wrong." I have never experienced such horrible and arrogant treatment from a business owner as I did with Scrub a Dog's owner Patricia. She lectured me and said it was all my fault and my old dog's fault, and she said in 21 years she has never had a complaint!!! Lie. Read the reviews. Also notice she replied to bad reviews that she didn't know one of the reviewers and wrote and long message about why another review was in the wrong like she said I was. She also said "because of me and my dog" she will not take elderly dogs again. I am shocked at how insulting and mean she was to me. I had one heated phone call with her from my regular groomer's shop a week later. The owner of that shop (Stacey from Doodle Doos and Dogs too. Westford. Fabulous!) got on the phone with Patricia to tell her what was not done at Scrub a Dog. She still would not apologize or be sympathetic to the hard time my dog had. I followed up with numerous emails. No response. Then I went IN PERSON and talked to her, and she would not back down at all and kept blaming me and the dog. When I said I wanted a refund she rolled her eyes and laughed derisively. Stacey from Doodle Doo's said when she has a complaint she immediately gives money back no questions asked. Get ready for Tricia to write a mean response about me and my dog. I never got a penny back. Is 80 dollars really worth fighting with a customer that hard and long? Scrub a Dog should have a big sign that says "The Customer is always Wrong!" This could have been avoided if she had just said, "I'm sorry the poor guy had a hard time. What can I do to make it better?"

Scrub A Dog is a gem! Patti, the owner, is very accommodating and incredibly helpful. I bring my dogs there for self wash and Patti is always ready to give a hand and the best nail trimmer around! We are fortunate that they have two locations, Maynard and Hudson. Thank you Patti!

What a treat! I was able to get an appointment very quickly and picked up my very happy, fresh, clean puppy! Everyone was so friendly. Love that shop! We will be back for sure.

Great personalized service - they listened and delivered the cut and look we were hoping for - our pup was happy and beautiful nose to tail when we picked her up!

We drive from NH for our pups to be groomed at Scrub a Dog. They always look great and are well cared while there. When you find a good groomer, stick with them!!!

I only wish I could give no stars!Recommended here since we are new to the area. Only wish I had read other negative reviews first. Although those were mostly about price, the services are poor and the owner Patricia McCART was defensive and highly unprofessional about what happened to my cocker. I had specifically said I didn’t want the feathers touched. They felt there were too many mats and just went on ahead and took down the feathers without calling me. Never in 30 years of having cockers groomed have I not had the groomer call to discuss a change. I am heartbroken at how my dog looks and know that it will take a king time for the hair to grow back. I would highly recommend not dealing with this company.

After my high anxiety mini poodle got asked “not to come back” at another place pre Covid, I was nervous to try again. My attempts at keeping him groomed were failing. This place was absolutely amazing. He was in and out in 2 hours, cut short to get rid of all the matting and smelling great.

A nice clean place, and the manager (owner?) is super helpful. She showed me how to use the hose so I didn't blow high-pressure water into my dog's eyes and ears, which shampoos to use so I didn't irritate him, and how to rub him dry with a nice fluffy towel (which she supplied) before blowing him dry. I entered with a wet, sticky, muddy dog and left 30 minutes later with a clean, fragrant, fluffy dog who had a big smile on his face (even dogs enjoy a nice bath!) Totally worth it, and SO much easier than trying to wash him in my own bathtub!

This place is such a bad place to take your pets, they are so unprofessional and bad costumer service. They cut our cooker spaniels feders without authorization, we didn't even call us to confirm or said anything.. it will now take for ever for hair to grow!!! So upseting i wish we had taken my pets somewhere else

I only wish I could give no stars. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with services. ***Completely unprofessional client relations!*** I was a first time client. I was clear that my cocker's feathers should be maintained. I received no call that they felt they needed to be cut out for mats. They took hair way to short. In 30 years of having cockers, I have never not had a groomer call to discuss a situation if they felt something different needed to be done. Defensive attitude of OWNER PATRICIA McCART compounded my dissatisfaction with this business. These are hardly professionals. Never going back again, needless to say. I have never taken to Yelp for anything before, but am so upset at how my dog was handled and how I as the client was treated by the owner, that I would STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO GO HERE.
