“Not to be dramatic but, the Y has changed my life. Being a SAHM can be lonely and hard and I’m feeling the best I ever have (even pre kids) now that I’m regularly at the Y. Every single person is so sweet and ready to jump in and help with a smile. The child watch is a game changer and the main reason I joined in the first place. Every teacher is a saint and an absolute joy. My girls love them and enjoy going to the gym “with” me. I get time for a good workout and relax and take my time before grabbing them and finishing our day. I can honestly say I’m in a better place thanks to the people here at Hockomock Area YMCA. Thank you! I highly recommend this place and if you wanna check it out I’ll meet ya at the boot camp class Wednesday mornings with Jess. You’ll leave feeling stronger than ever!”
“Golden Opportunities for Independence is spreading joy and love throughout MA with their amazing puppies/dogs! Pictured is GOFI dog named Goosey who is a trained therapy dog. Through the care and training that he received from GOFI, he is able to bring joy and happiness to anyone who meets him!”
“Great place to find gently used furniture and dishes. Also has things like windows, doors, appliances. It's the luck of the draw though. Sort of like an expensive Goodwill”
“A VFW post that exceeds all expectations of what a post should be and represent. Great staff and members. I highly recommend stopping there if you're ever in the Boston area.”
“This place is paramount in fighting hunger in an area. They serve breakfast to go Monday to Friday 9am-10am. They also serve a to go lunch from noon -1pm. A dine in dinner is served at a seat a one of the large round tables from 5:30pm to 7pm. After 6:30pm they offer an additional meal to go.”

“Just went there yesterday for my 50th birthday celebration and it was great. I have been there in the past and they did a wonderful job with the renovation. Scott the gentleman working was helpful and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here for what ever occasion”
“As a milk donor, the experience was stellar from start to finish. Warms my heart to know that organizations like this one exist— to feed thousands of vulnerable babies every day.”
“I want to leave a kind word for the quiet yet extremely important work done by this organization. Cathy and Maria are 2 of the people we have worked with, but I know they have a small army of volunteers and experts working on their time to make others lives if not just livable, easier. Most of us go to work with one goal in mind, to take care of and improve our and our family's lives. These folks spend their time taking care of the needs of anyone who needs the help. Thank you for the dedication and not forgetting the people in need. Your organization is special but the people are incredible.”

“My mother has been here twice over the years. Most recently she stayed here for about 6 weeks. The level of care, organization, and therapy is many levels above most rehab facilities in the area. She felt cared for and the therapy was great - she made tremendous progress over her time and was very grateful. Juliana, was very helpful with all communications - and the therapy staff was amazing. Highly recommened.”
“They are the most welcoming people that really love their job .Some offer u really good resources and most of it feels like family and u can feel they care when talking to them.”
“Just got home from the 100th Anniversary Gala at the Dedham Community House and walking through the front door after not having been there for over 3 DECADES, I was rocketed back to the days of my youth when I spent a great deal of time at D.C.H. The fellowship of the event was palpable and the pride in the principles that D.C.H. encompasses is inspiring. The outgoing director of 15 years, Michelle, introduced the new incoming director, who has decades of experience in non profit programs and knows and understands the missions and goals of Dedham Community House).I went to preschool here and I was both nurtured and gently disciplined so that I could LEARN and the wonderful teachers helped form me into the human being that I am today. I went to Dedham Community House summer camp from age 6 to age 12. I made some of my closest friends during those summers days at camp. I learned teamwork, scheduling and routine, listening to directions, sports, crafts, and empathy and compassion for others. I wouldn't trade those days for anything. It's so wonderful to know that D.C.H. is still a place for children to go to be safe and guided. D.C.H. is an important part of our community and I am sure it will be here and thriving 100 years from now. ???”

“I have been donating platelets for years. I have A- blood and my veins are very deep. This has been a problem my whole life. I go to the Red Cross donation center on Rustcraft Road in Dedham, Massachusetts. I wish I knew the gentleman‘s name, the manager. He’s there all the time and he’s very nice, positive and cheers us on as we sit there donating platelets.
Today, I’m writing mainly because I absolutely love the phlebotomist, her name is Medjine. When I donated over the years, it has been a big deal and a lot of stress preparing myself for draw. I’ve been sent home before because they couldn’t find my veins and after getting all pumped up and prepared mentally to be turned away, has been devastating.
I try to book when Medjine is working. I went today and it was stress free knowing she would be working with me. I had a double successful donation today-in and out quite easily. Thank you!
My friend recently passed away from leukemia and he would go to the Beth Israel for platelets at least three times a week and he would thank me every time and it made me feel really good.”
“I went to turn in my recertification for EBT and was helped by this lovely lady named Leslie, not only did she go over my paperwork and helped me scan it to the main office but also gave me all this info about the extra benefits that I was entitled to. I am happy to report that customer service is alive and well at SMOC thanks to Leslie. #1 Customer Service Representative.??”
“Volunteering at Daniel’s Table was an incredible experience. The opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others was truly rewarding. From the moment I stepped in, I was warmly welcomed by the dedicated team. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose.Looking forward to coming back soon.”
