Fernando Hair Design is THE best! I have had multiple services performed--haircut, blow dry, single process hair color, Highlights, lowlights, balayage and Keratin treatments. ALL exceptional and professional. Fernando consulted with me prior to any service and thoroughly answered my questions. He is so thorough in what he does. I receive so many compliments from spouse, friends and family. He has Newbury street and Brookline styles/cuts/results with reasonable prices. I have learned better selfcare and going to Fernando is something I do for myself. I do not leave the salon until I book my next appointment. A commitment to me!

I have done my hair with Luene for 9 years now! She is creative, confident, and so talented. I’ve gone through so many hair transitions, and she has always been honest and supportive through each of them. No one I trust more with my hair! Fernando’s Hair Design is lucky to have her. The whole staff there is kind and the space is beautiful!

I highly recommend this place! Luene has been taking care of my hair for years. She listens to all of my requests and is committed to give the best results, she makes sure that the health of my hair always comes first while getting THE perfect hair. She is very professional, punctual with her appointments, have a easy going personality, nice person to be around anytime! I’ve been going to Luene for a few years now and I can say I can’t imagine going anywhere else! She knows exactly what to do with my hair, even when I don’t have a clue. I had a cut and blowout recently and was complimented the whole day afterwards. I’m a very happy customer :)

I would never let anyone else color my hair. Luene has been doing my highlights for 6+ years. I’m a blonde and would never trust anyone else. She is the best of the best. She is super fast and efficient: in and out. Plus she is a doll so you get a social hour in with her. 12/10.The owner Fernando is so kind and always takes the time to say hello and check in.The whole staff is amazing! They feel like second family!

I was referred to Fernando last month for a cut and blowdry. We discussed my hair and decided that i not only needed that, but a foil, and a glaze treatment. I gave him full reigns on what to do with my hair. OMG, what a salon! Everyone is nice, friendly and down to earth. So much talent i saw working there. Fernando gave me blonde highlights , a face frame and a cut and blow dry, along with a glaze. color is amazing, style is great and no more frizz! I truly recommend this amazing salon to all! Prices are wonderful. Thank you Fernando! See u in 4 weeks.

Amanda is FANTASTIC! I have very very thick curly hair and she is great at blowing it out straight since I often transition from natural hair to straight. Salon is friendly and they work fast.
