Medfield Animal Shelter is a lovely shelter with wonderful, passionate, and kind staff and volunteers doing good work. They make the adoption process easy. The shelter also provides a vital low-cost spay and neuter service for cats, which is described as a blessing compared to the high costs at other hospitals. Adoption meetings are held by appointment only seven days a week, and potential adopters are asked to wear masks. Those interested should fill out an online application. The shelter gratefully accepts donations of unopened pet food and supplies in a bin at the front door. While volunteering opportunities may be limited, the shelter is appreciated for its great work and caring efforts.

We need to be funding the animal shelter more, the lovely hearts of those who work there can only do so much without proper support from the town and community. The work these people do is valuable, necessary, and never ends. Thank an animal shelter worker today!!!
