Phenomenal, local family business that sells fruits, vegetables, and dried goods. They also have an excellent array of spices, teas, and coffee.

Alright. So let’s say you want a LOT of beans. You’re in Boston, you want to reduce your waste and carbon footprint, but every bulk co-op charges $4 a pound for beans and you want the plastic from $2 a pound supermarket beans out of your life. This place has got you covered. Besides what’s in store - which by the way, this is a great place to refill spices in an affordable manner - you can email the very friendly owners, or talk to them, and they can place a custom bulk order for you for whatever is available to them through their vendor, either organic or conventional. In my case, the organic even ended up being less expensive! If you too eat chickpeas and butter beans on a daily basis and are in the market for 20 lbs of beans, this is ABSOLUTELY the place you’ve been looking for. In all seriousness, though, I am really thankful Green Street is here to support my beans habit and refill my spices. I have been questioning some of my assumptions lately on whether or not vegan and vegetarian places are actually more expensive for my needs, and I’m going to give this place a try more often as part of that.

As authentic and wholesome as it gets! Small business run by a local family selling nothing but the best organic food and products. Always a great selection and always friendly and knowledgeable folks. A real gem amidst a world full of chains and corporations.

Incredibly easy and seamless experience ordering from Green Street! Jason was so helpful getting my order together (which was ready in 20 minutes), and I felt very safe and comfortable picking up my food. My produce looks gorgeous and super fresh. Such a great experience. Thank you so much for your great work!!!

Picked up some fresh produce today including huge mushrooms, acorn squash, shallots and many other items. No wait- just call up and tell them what you want. Best Peapod in town

I can't say enough about Gerry from Green St. He is a frequent customer of mine at the Greenwood P.O. and he brought me in some Elderberry Immunity Tonic during this Covid19 pandemic. Above and beyond!!

This tiny shop is an absolute gem and a nice alternative to Whole Foods. Their produce section is limited but sufficient, and they also carry a great selection of pre-packaged healthy snacks. Where they really shine is their bulk section of spices. It is so awesomely varied, at affordable prices, with items not found elsewhere. I LOVE supporting this local business!

There aren't too many places around these days that put quality over quantity and make such a big efforts to locally source goods. I’m impressed, inspired and always stocked on my local honey! Really admirable.

I love Green Street Natural Foods and try to visit as often as I can! The staff are so so welcoming, friendly and helpful. On my first visit I let them know I hadn't been there before so I was given a tour - super helpful. For a small space they have quite a lot of inventory - the highlights for me are the organic herbs & spices you can buy in bulk, as well as the local honey which got me through a rather challenging allergy season. In addition to great foods they also carry a lot of household products - cleaning supplies, soaps, other products for the body. Plus there's a pet section and holistic remedies like CBD oil. I like to stop in here first and try to get as much as I can from my list before going to the traditional grocery store. I'd love to see them offer even more items in bulk - they have steel cut oats in bulk, but I don't think they have any grains, legumes or nuts in bulk so I have to go to Whole Foods. I would so much rather buy everything from Green Street if I could! I'll have to inquire next time I'm in - I've heard they will order things special for you if you have a request. Definitely stop in for a visit and say hi hello, buy a few things. I would hate to see a[nother] wonderful, local, family-owned place get pushed out by the big chains.

I've been going here for 35 years. This family is salt of the earth. They are a wealth of healthy information. They have almonds that are sprout able. I like to soak my almonds over night then peal them and dehydrate them at 115 degrees. They are so good. I soak all my seeds and nuts. This removes the enzyme that prevents digestion. You will feel like you went back in time. It is such a calming environment. You will never find such caring people.
