Awful customer service. They also mess up deliveries so if you order online from this store for a delivery to your home stuff always is missing and or damaged. Getting refunded on anything you will need to battle for it. I'd say I would go to the Salem nh store but they are almost as bad! Methuen also doesn't ever answer their phone when you call. Stick to Lowe's!

Every time I go to this Home Depot I get the best service. We recently had to make a stand to hold a 11'w x 8'h stretchy fabric sign for a vendor display the next day. The person who ordered the sign fir got yo get a stand. Andy in the pvc fitting area was so helpful to figure what we needed and cut all the pipes for us. We saved a great deal doing this project ourselves and it was done so quickly. Thank Andy!Then I went to the lighting area to research smart light bulbs. Severo was kind to explain the differences in the many options and asked the right questions to figure which bulbs would meet my needs. Thanks Severo!

We had a great experience here! We came in looking for help on a fencing project and Khyle (an employee) was extremely helpful. He told us exactly what we would need, helped us price it out, gave us plenty of options and answered all of our questions.Plus, it's a very dog friendly place, but I think all Home Depot's are.

If you know what exactly what you need, by all means. I needed assistance. I asked the front folks twice. 25 minutes later...I know I should've left, but...Help finally arrives, associate had absolutely no clue about nuts and bolts. I had to show them what a vice-grip was. I'll drive to Salem, NH before coming back here.

Be carefulI just purchased a dishwasher with a brand new Home Depot charge.Plumber said had Covid next said was busy and busy again. You can only get your money back within 40 minutes of purchase. Plumber said his name was Ramsey like the godThen said only 1 plumber between California and Boston. 4 days of hell He said any number I called would go back to him. OMG aIs this for real?Citibank will put in a dispute which takes 30 to 60 days to resolve.I had to fight like hell to get to the right resin to refund my money.Don't sign anything in this store till you have a lawyer with you. This Ramsey guy is a fraud and no one gives you they're last name.

Make sure to check your prices as marked and what you are being charged at the register. Just in the last month, two separate instances where what it was rung up as compared to the advertised price were wrong almost costing me $75+ dollars. I have shopped here for years because it's down the street from my house and have had this problem as far back as I can remember. I've finally had enough. The most recent one was a Black Friday deal where something marked $79.99 rang up for over $100. It was on sale from $89.99. Even with tax and paying $89.99, it would not have been over $100. Maybe if it was in the wrong place I could understand but it was in a display box. Earlier in the month a microwave priced at $208 rang up as $249 and I was told I needed to go back and take pictures to prove it because that's what it is ringing up as. Which again, it was proved wrong as I provided pictures. I don't enjoy throwing away money. I will just drive to Lowe's in Salem.

I came in on Sunday afternoon looking for help with a question about lighting. I have a light fixture and I wanted to know what hardware I needed for the light because I have a late from Home Depot where I don't have the hardware. I had the light fixture pulled up on my phone with all the appropriate reference information. I walked around for a good 30 minutes looking for health and had no one there to help me. After flagging someone down I was told there was no one there that could help me with the lighting and that I could just look at the wall and try and figure it out myself. I hope i fought the right thing but it doesn't look like it. I then called again today and was rushed off the phone because the employee said she was getting ready to leave multiple times. Rushed me off the phone and said check isle 47 and 49.

The garden center is a joke! The check out people very nice. Most workers lazy! A young male worker stood and watched me load five bags of rocks each weighing about 30 lbs without offering help! When I asked another worker for help loading my car I was told they have parking lot attendants. Of course after looking for one for fifteen minutes no one was outside! The last three times I have visited Home Depot it's been the same story. If you find an employee they do everything not to help you!!! So tired of lazy workers! Get off your ass and do your job!

Worst home depot store in Eastern Mass. no one speaks English, all illegals and a few white lazy employees. inventory always inferior to Plaistow and Salem. No one knows what they are doing. don't expect competent advice or help. I asked a gardening dept. employee if gardenias were perennials and he said he didn't know anything about flowers, just how to water them !!!
