JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores Methuen do better. I was so excited to go in shopping to get the material for a project that I wanted to do over vacation but I had to listen to the store manager bash teachers the entire time I was in there (about 20 minutes) I was so disheartened and defeated. I couldn't listen to her anymore so I went up to her and said” That is simply not true…any of it”. She just looked at me and shrugged, so I just put my stuff down and left. It's the first day of February vacation. Do you know how many teachers were probably walking around Joanne fabrics.

This had to be the strangest interaction I've ever had. I had a book I wanted to purchase that was from the clearance bin. The price was marked on the book with a sticker. The bar code wouldn't scan. She tried to scan a different clearance book and it also wouldn't scan. She takes the book away from and tells me she can't sell it to me. What?! I used to work for a Joann's a few years back and know for a fact this are generic department numbers you can use for these situations. I ask her if she can do that and she says no.

Awful place in terms of customer service. They are miserable and don't want to be bothered. If you ask them where an item is they will point toward “that direction” and they see you struggling to find it when they could a little early be showing you where the item is. I completely understand if they are busy but that is never the case.

The People who work at the Methuen store are Amazing, very HELPFUL and I would RECOMMEND anyone looking for crafts to Go there and See Mandella, Beth and Sherri....Thank you all for your help.

Made an online order. Go to pick it up and it’s the wrong order. Apparently did not have my item in stock and instead of canceling it, fulfilled with an entirely different item. Seemed shocked that I didn’t want an item item that I didn’t purchase……tried to get me to take the incorrect item. Would not cancel order right then and there but just wrote canceled the piece of paper. Won’t be returning to a store who could not cancel my order before I drove to get it.

We love all the Joann’s stores!However, the Methuen team stands out. The manager has done a great job meeting the local quilters needs and motivating the team to enjoy their job and the customers! One definitely gets the feeling of an owner operated location. That’s proof the manager goes above and beyond! We consider the Methuen location The Flagship of Joann’s bringing back that old school customer service feel back to the sales floor! Good work Team!
