I'm only giving this place a 2 star because Dr. Lui was very nice and professional. I should've known from them asking me gor my helath insurance or else they would not see me. I specifically asked for my visit to be billed to my eye insurance to have a lower copay and signed a release for the same but they billed my health insurance without my consent. I called on Mon and they told me to call billing, called billing and billing never got back to me and when I finally get ahold of billing they said to call the eye doctor because they only bill health insurances if told to by the office. Needless to say to be careful out there. I should not need to go through all of this process.

Highly recommend Cassandra and her team at Pearle in Methuen. Cassandra works hard to explain insurance benefits, she gives relevant options and works in Pearle promotions when available. They have a great selection of frames. I appreciate the excellent customer service!

Their website made booking quick and easy. Staff was helpful and friendly. They called to give me a heads up about what I will need for my appointment. Doctor was nice and helpful. Overall great experience.

Cassandra helped me and I couldn’t have asked for a more professional, polite, knowledgeable associate to assist me. I will be sure to come back specifically to see Cassandra. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!

I had the worst experience with Cassie at this location. I went in because my daughter’s glasses broke. I went in to get a replacement, since I had purchased the insurance for them. I was ridiculed and shouted at by Cassie as if I am a child. I suggest the company send her to get some customer service training. If this is the way that she treats customers, your company is going to lose a lot of business. She is very rude and passive aggressive.

Literally the worst place ever, staff was rude and unprofessional, had an appointment for both me and mom and even took the day off work, I had already confirmed with them two times and I still needed verbal confirmation so when I went in they canceled my appointment because I didn’t give them a verbal confirmation… how much conformation do you need!!!!!

I came again in June 2023 for my own exam and new glasses and everything was just excellent. Perfection! Been back four times. The last time was with an elder who needed TLC. The team was simply wonderful!

Update. Went back down to a one-star. Reason-- after I went back the Dr did another eye test to see if my scripts were right and told me I had a little cataract in my left eye. Never told me on my first visit. She also said on my first visit that the glasses would fix the rainbow streaks effect that I was seeing out of my left eye and told me on the second visit that she didn't say that. She said it would help. Also when looking at my phone with my reading glasses the phone looks warped and that it would go away the more I used them. Well, it hasn't gone away. Unfortunately, I have Mass Health glasses and I don't think they were made right. I am also having to squint to see with my distance glasses. So, I am calling Mass Health to get a second opinion appointment somewhere else.Update. Just got a phone call from Pearle Vision. To look at my glasses and fix them if there's a problem. Thank you for calling me. I've updated my stars to a 4. If they fix the problem I'll update it to 5 stars.My phone looks warped when I use my reading glasses. And like other places I've gotten glasses in the past they gave me something to clean the lenses with. If I had known I wasn't getting next-day glasses I would have gone to lenses crafters. But someone told me you did next day. I was told after my eye exam that you didn't do next day. Plus I didn't like the eye exam. It was too quick and some stuff was not done like at my other exams. I felt like it was a rushed exam. When I looked at the reviews they were positive. But now I see a whole lot of negative ones. Wish they were there when I looked the first time. I would not have gone to this location. Update I was told I have a stigmatism, I was told these glasses would fix it, but they didn't. I still see the rainbow streaks when wearing my long-distance glasses.
