“I walked into Danvers Rug with a number of heirloom wool rugs in terrible condition. One was a large Persian, the others an assortment of Navajo and Mexican rugs. I despaired of getting them all restored but the proprietor is a true master. He recognized the origin of my small rugs ("Navajo 1880..."), did a fantastic job restoring the large Persian and for one piece sent away for hand-spun wool and dyed and rewove it himself to match an unusual blue background. And the price was very reasonable.There just aren't many such highly skilled, knowledgeable, caring and careful masters any more. If you have or want special rugs, this is your place (although it may not look like it from the outside). A VERY happy customer, October 2023”

“I had never used Hastings before, and we were in the market of hardwood floors for two bedroom and carpeting for a loft We were greeted by Kristen Hastings. She was awesome. Answered all of pur questions. I loved the flooring that is THEIR flooring in the store, which happened to be Amendoin, which is an exotic hardwood. A bit pricey. So we proceeded on our way to several other flooring stores in our area. We'll, needed less to say we came back to Hastings and ordered the Amendoin! My main concern was installation. I needed people who knew what they were doing. She assured me that she had installers that do hardwood and installers that did carpeting. And she was RIGHT. We are more than pleased. Kristen worked with us to schedule installation and we had the best installers for both hardwood and carpeting. Many many thanks to ALL involved and would most definitely recommend Hastings. “I had a very good experience here the carpets and service were amazing, however, the carpet's did smell very fruity and like a vape smell. My carpets came having this smell and I know its from a vape because its the exact same smell my brothers apartment smells like who vapes 24/7. Not a huge deal to me but just wanted to raise awareness because maybe a worker is hitting their vape in the store, which could turn off others from buying something.”

“I am extremely pleased with the excellent service that ProSource in Woburn provided for my recent purchase of wide plank engineered hardwood flooring. I had a good installer lined up to install a floating floor on top of an old original terrazzo floor in my condo, but was overwhelmed with selecting a product because the small samples the installer had weren't big enough to see what a whole floor would look like, and he only had a few samples on hand. In addition, due to pandemic-related supply chain disruptions I learned that many products were on back order and there was a big price variation in the first few options I looked at. The installer's distributor didn't have a huge selection either, but I had seen a link to the ProSource showroom and knew it was nearby, so just drove around the corner and was lucky to meet up with Paul Coutoumas. Paul not only showed me many more options at a range of prices but also thoroughly explained the extras like the underlayment, transition pieces, timing for delivery, etc. When I told him I wanted a high-end look and quality product but at a reasonable mid-range price, he steered me right to a couple of great options – well known, quality manufacturers with a range of products at a range of prices that I found very reasonable. Paul loaned me a couple of large sample boards to take home. I made a couple of showroom visits, and each time, even if he was very busy with others, Paul made time for me. We also had a few email exchanges and phone conversations and he was always easy to reach or to quickly get back to me if he was tied up. I put in an order pretty quickly and there was a little back and forth after the installer told me more specifically what to order, and Paul was again extremely fast to respond and adjust. Amazingly, the flooring arrived within just a few days and my gorgeous new floors were installed not long after. In other words, Paul was just fantastic - so friendly, helpful, and extremely generous with his time educating me about the various options. Thanks to him and ProSource I was able to make an informed choice and select the perfect product for my needs and my budget, and I absolutely love the gorgeous result. I plan to return soon to Pro Source for bedroom carpet, bathroom flooring, and probably tile as well. I’d never want to go anywhere else after this excellent experience, and very highly recommend them.”

“I have used Adams & Swett for years to get my oriental carpets cleaned. My parents used them for decades before I did! They know rugs. The service is always consistent and dependable. The new location in Quincy is not as convenient for me as the past location on Mass Ave. But it is much safer. There's a discount if you drop off and pick up yourself, but no need to. They will gladly do that for you!”
