“When I moved to Milford in 2018, I needed a reliable mechanic. Like many others, I assumed most auto repair shops might try to overcharge you, but you put up with it because you have no choice. However, I quickly realized this shop is different, and it has completely changed my perception of what a trustworthy repair shop looks like.
As long as I live in Massachusetts—no matter where—I will only come here. Over the years, I’ve brought all of my children's cars (six cars between four kids), my wife’s car, and my own cars here for servicing. Every single time, the experience has been exceptional. The manager, Rich, is fantastic. Even though the shop is always busy, he and the team make me and my family feel like we’re their most important customers.
When I first started coming here, I tested their honesty. I already knew what was wrong with my daughter’s car but didn’t want to drive 50 miles to my usual mechanic. I played dumb and let them take a look. They came back with an accurate diagnosis, matching exactly what I already knew. They could have easily tacked on unnecessary repairs to inflate the bill, but they didn’t. That kind of honesty was refreshing.
A few months later, my other daughter’s car needed work, and this time, I dealt with the owner, Ray. After fixing the car, we had a conversation, and he shared how much he values his reputation in the community. He explained that he doesn’t want to walk around town with his family and have someone recognize him as “the guy who ripped me off at the repair shop.” That level of integrity stuck with me.
It’s disheartening when I see new customers come in defensive, assuming they’ll be taken advantage of, but I understand where they’re coming from. If I could, I’d tell every one of them, “You don’t have to worry here. These guys are the real deal—honest, reliable, and genuinely good people.”
