My complaint is not that I was required to have an appointment to set up an escrow account today, but that I am kept waiting. Similar to some physician’s waiting rooms. It’s 12:20 now for my noon appointment. The same thing happened to my husband last time.

This bank is one of the many hometown banks that have been in Milford since I was a kid in the 60s. It is the only one that has survived and is still running. I love this bank. It gives me personalized service and everyone is so helpful when I go there to do both personal and business banking. It even has a free coin machine to turn in coins and has popcorn and treats available. I hope it is around for many years to come and I can imagine competing with the big guys such as BOA it can be tough, but you can't get the personalized service you do at this bank.

Customer service from the branch manager DAN at the Main Street Milford location was ABYSMAL. I have NO idea how someone gets to this level without a shred of customer service ability. I have banked with this bank for decades and for the first time experienced a serious banking issue. When DAN was called to assist me, he was extremely rude refusing to help in any way couldn’t even bother to look into the computer to research the issues. I was so shocked that he would treat a decades long customer in this manner. I actually told him that I may need to close the remaining accounts I have for fear this may also happen to them. And his reply was a cold “do what you have to”. It is sad when another employee witnesses that scene and felt they had to apologize for DAN the manager’s bad behavior. That employee also felt I was mistreated and went a step further and referred me to another branch in town and a contact person to help me. I will tell you that the branch over on Medway Road is worth the small trip across town! The branch manager there ALAN was an absolute professional! Not only did he treat me like a valued customer but he resolved the issues in minutes. It was because of the employee that referred me to this other location and ALAN that kept me as a customer. DAN needs to either reconsider his choice of profession and get a clue or step out and let someone worthy of the position have it. Just because you hold a title DAN doesn’t mean you are worthy of it. Thank you ALAN again for what you did for me and my family, it was very much appreciated especially during these uncertain times.

I moved to Milford over a year ago and had been banking with another bank that was closer to my previous area. I wanted to see for myself what my local bank was like. I did read previous reviews of this bank but I went in and met with the customer service team anyways. They were great and very helpful when I was opening my accounts there. When I had questions about online banking, they were great and walked me through the questions I had to make it clearer and easier to navigate. I've now moved all my accounts to this bank and I've had nothing but top notch service from the staff there. Jeff C

The bank is great except Janet at the front desk. Everytime I have to deal with her I walk away frustrated from the unneeded rudeness. Everyone else is great. If it wasn't for the rest of the staff I would switch banks. Find a nice person to be the initial person upon entry.

Friend of mine went to Deliver a Pizza to this Branch and was given a letter asking why they had to pay for food delivery even though it was right down the street from the bank.

I have been having a continual issue with receiving my mortgage bills in a timely manner, ever since they did away with their mortgage coupon books. My mortgage is on the 26th of every month, but I never receive the bills from their billing company till the 19th ( or later!) They are dated the 12th. After numerous complaints to them about this I have been told that it must be my post office. I informed them that I have no other problems receiving any other bills or mail n get mail almost weekly from my mother in Florida in 3-4 days and these bills come from closer to me. I also reminded them about the law that states that bills must be provided to the consumer 30 days prior to the due date. To this I was told that they dough ted that the AG ( Attorney General) would be bothered by this. I was also told that they have a 10 day before its late policy. So instead of giving me the full 30 days, I am expected to accept the 7 days (at most) with a 10 day grace period.LOL. Really nervy and insulting as well. That's customer service in a nut shell of this bank. So If you are like me and want ALL your bills to arrive on time, so you can pay them at YOUR leisure instead of jumping up n paying the moment received, look elsewhere and get the CUSTOMER first service that you deserve.
