I’ve been with Banfield for my dog for 9 years now. She has had her surgery for spaying, vaccines, and other medical procedures/general medical care otherwise known as primary care. Lacey my dog is monitored for a heart condition and they have always given us care with compassion. I would use banfield again and I always recommend it to friends. Especially those who have trouble financially.

Between this location and the northborough location I’m unable to make/keep an appointment. I’ve been trying to make an appointment for my puppy to be neutered since july, it’s now february. I was told i’d be put on a waiting list and called 4-5 times, was never called. Every time I call I am on hold for a very long time until I just give up and try again the next day and repeat that 5 times. The times I have been able to make an appointment I have had to reschedule on their behalf. Today I finally walked in to my puppy’s appointment, on time, I live 45 minutes away, I walked in and was told I had to reschedule because the doctor was not in. When I was called the day before to confirm. It’s really frustrating and i’m over it.

The staff at Banfield is great. Roxy and Dr Bettey are Benny’s favorite. I am very grateful to be able to bring my dog somewhere I know he is taken care of and shown affection.

They let my beautiful German Shepard die. They looked at her and said I don't know what is wrong. And did no further test but instead quickly gave us an antibiotic and sent us home. Who in there right mind would say to a human I DON'T Know What Is Wrong? Banfield does. She went in a total of 3 times each time saying I don't know what is wrong here try another medicine when they DON'T even know what they are treating her for!!! She died of 90% of her stomach being filled with cancer elisions. How we know is we rushed her to Tufts Animal Hospital and they immediately knew what was wrong. They said this is actually common in German Shepheard's. They rushed her into surgery and she died on the table. Three months we went to Banfield and they did not know what they are doing. Pet Smart is a wonderful store. They care, they took back all the food and other things and gave us our money back. Talk about compassion. Pet Smart, if you are listening please get rid of this chain franchise vet where they just make money rushing your family in and out. Good Luck!

After 5 years with the Millbury Banfield, I continue to be happy with the care my pups get. My only reason for 4 stars is that I am either waiting long in line or waiting for several minutes on the phone. Otherwise, the best care for my boys. ????

The staff here took such incredible care of my kitty who ended up needing pretty major dental surgery. I could not be happier with my experience here. Communication was wonderful the whole way through.

Update:About 2 weeks ago the corporate office contacted me to say they will pass along the review to the Millbury location. Dónde then nothing happened except for the high bill I had to pay to the other Veterinarian hospital.I wanted to attach a picture of the bill I paid for the first visit to the Banfield Hospital.Original review:This is not a good place to go. I went there because the hospital I have been using for many years were very busy and could not make an appontment for new pets. The way they work is not professional, I took my little kitten ito Bankield for an initial checkup, they were to check and clean his ears, I was convinced they did it because they sent me a medication to put into his ears which is performed by the vet tecs anywhere else. Since the mediation given for my kitten that was sick did not do anything on himt, I took the kitten to the former veternarian because its conditon did not improve. At the time of the ears examination the doctor there removed a lot of ear mites from both ears. So I had to pay twice for their job not being completed. They do not even alloe you to enter with the pet for some reason. Probably, they do not want you to see what the do or what they do not with your pet.

Website says the Millbury location closes at 6. I arrived at the store at 5:40, waited for 5 min before someone came out and said they couldn’t refill a prescription my dog very much depends on because their systems were already shut down. I know late arrivals are inconvenient but maybe the hours for the store should be adjusted to avoid these situations.

Not allowed to be in the room with my pet. First office visit = 2 minutes with AmyBrought my pup here for complimentary appointment at 230, they took him in the room from 311-313 and only noted the issues I said I thought were a problem. So confused by the way this place does business.

They are wonderful and my dog loved all of the staff members! I had an appointment scheduled with my regular vet to get x-rays done for my pup and they called this morning (day of appointment) and canceled. Banfield was very accommodating and got me in ASAP. Very friendly staff!! ?

horrible horrible- the last two times our dogs were ill we were told they were short staffed and could not see the dogs. Suggested we go to Tufts. We have been on wellness plans for both dogs for years. It is a total waste of money now. We lived in Bellingham and had the same situation there. DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO A WELLNESS PROGRAM. They are ok for checkups but still end up costing you for the upsells-yes I feel like I'm getting and oil change with my car and they try to upsell on services. If your animal is sick I have found they are unlike a traditional vets office for appointment availability . Save your money and ensure the safety of your pet and go to a regular vet.

They are friendly, polite, and recognize my dog (tho I think she would prefer 'Pretty Pretty Princess). The only issue is that they are always busy, and I have to wait a bit before checking in. Overall, it is an excellent professional place.
