“I went in earlier today, and was not sure if they would be open because of Easter. Sure enough, they were and I was even able to get some free Easter cupcakes and sweets. Bryan and Fancy Pants were incredibly nice and welcoming, and the items in the shop were very fairly priced. I got some goodies today and am sure I will be back soon; it is my new favorite. :)”

“Super cute consignment. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend you check them out. They have a variety of name brands, great deals and great customer service. She asked me if I needed help and went above and beyond to look for a dress in my size. Thank you again, I’ll definitely be back.”

“Great boutique for consigned designer items—always in excellent condition, at a fraction of the cost! The store is lovely and welcoming, with really helpful staff. I only wish the space was bigger (it can be tricky to browse when it’s busy, although the store is well organized.) Make sure to also follow Sweet Jane’s on Instagram to see new items and be in the know about sales!!”

“I've visited Crompton Collective whenever I've been to Worcester. Actually, I discovered this place when I went to Worcester Public Market. Even though I grew up in a different country, I could find many objects related to my childhood. Antiques or handmade objects, books, postcards, you can find unique gift ideas here. The building architecture, the book café inside, the Haberdash store selling clothes made from wonderful fabrics, and the fountain in the backyard make it a must-visit place in Worcester. After a lunch break at Worcester Public Market, you can grab your coffee and enjoy watching the birds drinking from the fountain in the courtyard. Conveniently located on Green Street, it's easily accessible by public transportation or by car. This place is a hidden gem in Worcester.”

“I have been buying clothes here for several years. Everything is cleaned and ironed, ready to wear. Clothing of good quality.at Christmas they have Ugg hats, gloves, slippers as well as Burberry scarves for good prices. Jewelry as well. I'm just a customer but this is my go to store whenever I or a friend need something. Usually cheaper than Savers and a much nicer store”

“A very well-run, higher end consignment shop. The owner, Sue, is pleasant and helpful. They have everything from new bathing suits to ball gowns and everything in between. I left with a lbd and a pretty shawl.”

“Not that many thrift stores in the area, but Salvation Army has a good reputation for helping others and I dont mind shopping there. During COVID, they ask that you wear a mask. The parking is a bit odd, but there is plenty of it. Walk up the stairs of the brick building and you will face a very long room that seems to go 250 ft maybe. Lots of furniture and shoes/bags right when you walk in. There is a room off the side for cds, housewares and electronics. I think the prices are good/fair for the housewares. The bulk of the building is dedicated to womens and children's clothes. There is one corner for toys, but it is a smaller collection. The men's clothes are in the back and is about half the size, but there is plenty of clothes to be found. I am not from the area, but the prices seem high for the clothes. I bought a t-shirt for $3.99. I personally thought it should be .75 to a dollar. It appears that many of the clothes are priced similar and it is still cheaper than Savers or any department store by far. The check out cashiers are very nice but they take a while. I was probably in line for 5 minutes. I didnt mind waiting though since they were friendly.”

“I was having a tough day, needed to take up some time waiting for something, and also needed some sweaters, so I looked up the closest thrift shop to where I was, as I’m not from Worcester, and Grime was first on the list. Molly, the owner greeted me with a smile, and I asked for her help finding some warmer clothes, as I’m traveling. She was SUPER helpful giving me feedback on things I tried on, and our conversation helped me take my mind off of things. This store is not only one of the coolest stores I’ve ever been in, they have a FANTASTIC selection, fair prices, and Molly, the owner is a wonderful human. The next time I’m in the area, I’ll for sure come back. THANK YOU!!”

“I think some reviewers have forgotten this place is charity that contributes to our community. There are limited resources and staff trying to do the best they can.
When it is time to clean the closet out or replace items around the home I hope you take a moment out of your bust lives to donate here. It is as simple as just dropping your items off on the way by or if you don't normally drive by stop at one of the local diners or reteraunts i have reviewed nearby and make a date out of it
That being said, it is a charity. The money goes to good causes other than a fancy building and extra staff. They do manage to do well keeping the place well organized.
Items change frequently and it's hit or miss shopping. Sometimes you leave with an armful other times you just can't find that one item you wanted.
Besides the fact that it's a charity buying used items is so much better for our planet than constantly buying and discarding new items”
