Best wine shop in the metro West. Bob Harkey is second to none in wine IQ. Most importantly, he teaches you about wine in a friendly style. From beginner to expert, he meets you where you're at in wine knowledge to help you find the wine you're looking for. (I know this reads like a planted review, but it isn't - honest! I’ve gone here for over 12 years and I’m sure I’ve spent over $10k at this store, but yesterday, as I pulled into the lot, one of the employees, as he left his shift, made an extremely rude gesture towards my elderly grandfather and I. My grandfather, who is 84 and suffers from dementia, was upset for hours afterwards. For what it’s worth Bob Harkey is a really nice guy, amazingly knowledgeable about wine and about restaurants in the area too. I just can’t justify using this store again.
