Great hiking area. Multiple hiking trails suitable for kids and adults of various fitness capabilities. Definitely can spend several hours here as an escape from the city.

Lovely place to take the kids for a fun little trip, pack some food and drinks bring your items for extracurricular activities and you're good. The experience of just connecting with nature here is one of one.
Blue Hills Reservation stretches over 7,000 acres, covering parts of Quincy, Braintree, Canton, Dedham, Milton, and Randolph. There are 125 miles of trails to explore through forests and wetlands, up hills, and more. Maps and information are available at park entrance, with 10 minute parking only. Visitor parking is available across the street, or at the Houghton's Pond parking lot.
