What a treasure the Eustis Estate is! Highly recommend the guided tour and if you’re lucky Richard will be your guide. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and appreciation of this exquisite estate and grounds make the experience that much more enjoyable. It is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Looking forward to visiting again in the spring when everything is in bloom.

The mansion is a truly unique and interesting piece of architecture, interior design and local history. If you enjoy any of these, this is a great excursion. My bucket list now includes coming back with time to just SIT and peruse the books in the library because you actually can do that here. Then you can stroll and picnic on the vast grounds. A good take!

I visited Eustis Estate back in December, bringing my family (five adults) to visit as a Christmas gift.Eustis Estate is open all year, a rarity for HNE properties. Days of the week vary depending on the season. The property is open on Saturday and Sunday from January through April, Friday through Sunday from May to November, and Thursday through Sunday in December. Self-guided tours are admitted on the hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., while guided tours take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.Admission to enter the house is standard large house pricing for HNE at $20 for adults, $17 for seniors, $10 for students, and $0 for HNE members (like me!), with an additional $5 per person charge for a guided tour. Some public libraries have day passes for free admission.A spacious parking lot fits vehicles of nearly any size. Plus, this historic house was built with an elevator and is fully accessible for those using wheelchairs or with other mobility-related disabilities! Additionally, those who cannot travel to the site can explore the mansion using an informative virtual tour, which has information matching the kiosks found inside the house. If you are looking for a fun, education, historical, and relaxing activity for the whole family during the winter holiday season or any time of year, this is an amazing option.

My 2nd visit, I shared with friend visiting from Seattle. The Holiday decorations and warm reception from the staff provided more of the family sense the history of Eustis represents. A unique architectural and engineering wonder that lively portrays such an edifice provided for intimate family gatherings, meeting the needs of all ages.

A must see museum house in Massachusetts. There's so much history and story. The years of lived experience is palpable. The center is wonderfully maintained and clean, inside and outside. It is a treat that the public can get access to this awesome place. The outdoors is also wonderful to explore. The grounds are especially beautiful in the fall. I plan to return when the Christmas decorations are up. Thanks to all the attendants and guides - they were all so courteous and kind.

Beautiful land & house. I think a wedding was being prepped for while we were their. The museum is on top of a hill that has beautiful acres of green grass and interesting sculptures! I recommend visiting if possible!

The estate was interesting. Unfortunately the young man working in the gift shop was a liar. I told them I did not want to give my email address but was told they needed it for contact tracing. That was a complete lie. They only want to send advertising. Don't give them your email address. I will not recomend sending people somewhere they will be lied to.

An idyllic spot for a walk, and generally not too crowded. Gorgeous grounds. The house is also nice but it’s not necessary to visit it to enjoy the grounds. A good place for dogs, although some people do not obey the rules and let their dogs off leash.

Visited this beautiful museum on May, 22 2022. It was a self guided tour but we were greeted by employees who gave us a quick introduction and answered all questions we had while exploring the house. Stuff was very friendly and knowledgeable about Eustis Estate.First when we arrived what caught our eyes was this spacious land around with beautiful scenery views. Next thing we were mesmerized by this old huge and gorgeously looking tree in front of the house (definitely ask about the history of this tree! ) . The estate itself looks really well preserved, in my opinion, outside and inside for a house built in 1878. There is definitely unique atmosphere and energy about this place and I highly recommend this museum. We got our tickets online and it was $20 per adult person. Masks are required inside the house for the tour.

I homeschool my 8 year old son and we attended a Christmas homeschooling event here. We learned about the mansion and created ornaments while visiting different rooms then added all the ornaments onto garland to take home! The place is magnificent! The staff are very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had a wonderful time! In fact, I will be purchasing a family membership. Looking forward to many more events!

We visit this place in every season. It's from a by-gone era and built with the Eustis family's enormous wealth. Look for the huge beach trees, awesome! Rock on the porch and relax...
