Great people! I’ve been harassed and yelled at fromEmployeees at the cue, and CVS and just an old lady one time and the fruit center were the only ones that cared, they actually helped me and when the police were envolbed they got them to check to footage to see I wasn’t doing anything wrong.

Always treated very well here, a great selection of fantastic food, the only downside is, it’s quite costly.

I felt discriminated at this place by the Caucasian baggers. Before me and after were 2 white women whom they helped. When it was my turn to pay, a minority person, the Caucasian baggers disappeared.

I recently had the privilege of visiting the Fruit Center at Milton Marketplace, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. This facility boasts an extensive array of quality products, with a special emphasis on local offerings. Among these, the meat and dairy products from the illustrious New England region stand out for me.One cannot help but be captivated by the wealth of options on display. The dedication to sourcing and showcasing local excellence truly sets this marketplace apart. The commitment to supporting regional artisans and farmers is evident in every corner of this facility. In addition to their remarkable product selection, The Fruit Center offers an ingenious solution for those seeking the perfect gift - their gift baskets. These exquisitely curated ensembles serve as a haven for those in the throes of gift-giving dilemmas. On this particular visit, I was privileged to be assisted by Sandy, a venerable presence with more than two decades of dedicated service to this establishment.Sandy's expertise and dedication were nothing short of remarkable. Her prompt and impeccable assistance in creating a housewarming gift basket for me left an indelible impression. The end result was nothing short of spectacular, and my friends were truly appreciative of this thoughtful gesture. Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team at the Fruit Center for their outstanding service and commitment to excellence. My visit was memorable and I look forward to returning to this exceptional facility in the near future. This is undoubtedly a jewel in the Milton Marketplace and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all discerning shoppers and gift seekers.

Great place to shop. I can always find gifts for any occasion there. My favorite Items are the chocolates, wine, cookies and take out meals. Last minute dinner is solved with their quiche and prepared salads. I love the selection of rolls, garlic bread and Wednesday is homemade soup to go in a cup or a bowl. I never can resist the fresh fruit especially the strawberries and wild blueberries that I saw today. Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful. Just remember to bring your own bags or buy their paper bags.

Quality is everything here. The fishmonger and butcher shop are run by outside parties and have exceptional seafood and meat. The wine, cider and beer selections are expertly curated. Produce is farm fresh. And I always find an interesting cheese. If you're willing to pay up for quality, as I am, this is the place to grocery shop.

East Milton Square has been a traffic nightmare at all times of the day for as long as I can remember, but if you can brave the traffic or weave through side streets, the Fruit Center marketplace is a not-so-hidden secret well worth exploring. It's a independent market that's stuffed full not just of fruits and produce as its name implies, but also has plenty of gourmet and imported shelf-stable items, a full deli, a self-serve salad bar, prepared entrees, an extensive wine and beer selection, plenty of cheeses, extensive cheese cases, and plenty of plants and flowers on display. Although the venue isn't as large as, say, a supermarket, it more than makes up for this with aisles and shelves jam-packed with both a broad and deep selection of goodies, many of them organic and/or locally made. An excellent resource to have here on the Milton/Quincy line - just as good as "gourmet" markets that you might expect to find in more exclusive suburbs.

My family had an 'Apple Taste Test' using fresh apples from Fruit Center, Whole Foods, Boston Organics, and Imperfect Foods. Everyone concurred Fruit Center is the best! Their commitment to sourcing from local businesses also ensures a unique shopping experience.

I love the concept of the small shops incorporate into a smaller grocery store. It can get busy and some aisles can be tough to traverse. Recommend going when not busy but recommend stopping to see all they have to offer. Including: Fish Market - Sushi bar (made fresh) - Meat shop- upstairs restaurant and more!

The Fruit Center Marketplace is always a shopping experience. The prepared food is a little on the pricey side but well worth it. The deli is outstanding and the deli staff are great. Fruits and veggies are fresh. Try the fish counter you won't be disappointed. My favorite buy here are the chicken cutlets, they make a quick parmigiana and you can pass them off as your own. Check out is always a breeze and they actually bag your purchases. Don't forget to check out the wine.
