“Loved the gift options at 4 winds. They're pleasantly affordable, contrary to most everything else in Nantucket, and had some great options for good gifts and souvenirs. It's also one of the few shops open late, which is very helpful after a day spent biking around the island instead of in the town at the shops. Wish we'd seen this place sooner, as wouldn't have gotten anything anywhere else!”

“Lots of stuff, get ready to spend a lot of time here! Overall reasonable prices - of course some stuff is priced higher and some lower..... that's part of the hunt!”

“The Scrimshander Gallery has some of the best variety of scrimshaw I've ever seen! Mike Vienneau is an extremely talented artist of this dying art form. It is no coincidence this gallery has been operating for more than 22 years! This is a must-stop for anyone interested in taking home a piece of true Nantucket art made by a local Nantucketer, or even just to stop in to admire everything in there and leave with one of his annual holiday ornaments (each year has a unique design!). Mike is very kind and helpful and it's always a treat to see his sidekick Millie in the gallery hard at work with him. Love this shop and I look forward to stopping in each visit :)”

“Incredible selection. Obviously you shouldn’t pick up these items that are basically from the Holocaust you cast of incredibly stupid 1 star lunatics. Read the paper on the way in about the history.”
