This company was nothing short of amazing! The crew was extremely professional and helped me learn how to fish! They took us to the best spots on the island and we were able to catch so many fish and have the best time. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone traveling in the Nantucket area.

We went out on "Jabb" for 4 hours with Nat and had a great time, it was a gorgeous Fall day. Late season and still caught a False Albacore and a Striped Bass keeper!! Nat filleted the striper and we had a fabulous dinner that night! This was our second trip out with Cpt. Tom's, would definitely go again next year. Thank you!

Magical day from start to finish. Professional, relaxed, comfortable, and loads of fish. Capt Carl and Striker Samantha were top notch. All six got fish. Wonderful Nantucket experience

went out solo with Jason on June 10, 2023, 3:30-7:30. Used light tackle and after finding the tell-tale birds, starting landing a half dozen stripers but none in the 28-31" gap. we moved to a few spots while dodging some incoming stormy weather (great job reading the weather Jason) but with less luck. went back to the "June" birds and started right up again with more stripers. a few noteworthy strikes: right at the boat and one above the water. Best fighter was a feisty blue (only one of the day) but he finally decided to be my supper. Great seas for a balance challenged 73 yr old. Jason was a perfect captain, mate, weather-man and conversationalist. All in all, one of the very best days on the water!

We went out on the 4 person "Jabb" with Guide Jarrett. Called Cpt Tom's based on the top rating on Trip Advisor. We went out on the 4 hour trip with our 9 and 13 year old children and my wife. Our first spot was very promising with what looked to be feeding false albacore. After 30 min and no bites, Jarrett dicided to take us all the way to the other side of the island. Quite a trip in a 21 ft boat, but when we got there the black bass action was great. Then we went on to the blues and the kids had the time of thier life. Huge bluefish and everyone got some great fish to land.Jarrett knew what to do, and when to do it. We left alot of boats behind looking for those albies, and no one near us in the spot where we hit all the fish. The fam will be back next year!

Northeast winds did not deter an afternoon run on the 23' Maritime Skiff this past Wednesday. Looked for stripers on the southside of Tuckernuck, no luck, but I've fished all of the rips along the surf of Nantucket over the past 33 years, and was amazed by the wash, common & royal terns feeding only visible by boat. Grew up fishing in the Gulf, as an adult, the mid-Atlantic, and some of my greatest days fishing were along Nantucket. At the urging of my 25 year old son, we chartered this trip, and were not disappointed one bit in the end with an exception or two. After a quick look for the stripers, our Captain, Brooks, took us around the west side & we punched our way into the wind, to the Tuckernuck Shoal. Bluefish, large in size torpedoed under our boat once we hit the edge of the rip, feeding on a new hatch of squid, devouring anything we threw at them. Crew proved to be sea worthy once we got our sea-legs going, and had a riot. Frankly we would have been better off with Coors Light than the iced Cisco IPAs on board. Unfortunately, we ran short on tackle. Needed more mono leader, barrel swivels, & plugs. We made do though. Our captain was ingenious in some of the improvised rigs he tied. I was pissed I didn't bring my Gray Lady tackle box, or we'd have been set. Regardless, all & all, I'll rate it a 4. Got Brooks contact & will work to go again next year, with barrel swivel back up. Maybe some WD40 too. If you are 63 & being on a small craft around Nantucket makes you feel 20 again, go for it. Good work Brooks!Mark Harrison / Virginia Beach / King of the Chesapeake

Highly recommended. Jason is exceptional at what he does. Took me and three kids out ages 7, 13 and 17 to catch bluefish. Ended up being the most memorable part of the trip to Nantucket for all of them.

A little crazy and a lot of fun. And he put us onto fish, pretty fast. I've never topwater fished for bluefish before and it was great. They chase the lure, hit hard, miss a lot but keep pursuing it (all the way to the boat), and when they hit, it's practically like fishing for rainbow trout (think: jumping out of the water), but much bigger. We went out with Capt Tom's son and Grady was our first mate and we had a lot of fun. The water was choppy, sandbars and breaking waves, I felt good navigating those sandbars with someone who grew up in these parts and who knew the water well. Overall, a great trip with a bit more excitement than we expected, but a lot of fun. Two tips: [1] don't arrive early as there is literally nothing at the pier where you leave, [2] after fishing walk 1/2 mile down the road to Millie's for great food, a Bloody Mary, and a Captain Tom sandwich (fried cod) presumably named after the man himself.

Fantastic charter! Highly recommend. They put us on about 25 to 30 fish. We caught all blues but they fought hard and hit the top lure which was a blast. My arm was sore after catching so many. Grady, our first mate, made some nice filets for us on the way back. We had a heck of a bbq after. They were delicious!

Had a great day sight casting a sand eel fly with Jarret on the flats around Tuckernuck!
