“Loved the gift options at 4 winds. They're pleasantly affordable, contrary to most everything else in Nantucket, and had some great options for good gifts and souvenirs. It's also one of the few shops open late, which is very helpful after a day spent biking around the island instead of in the town at the shops. Wish we'd seen this place sooner, as wouldn't have gotten anything anywhere else!”
“If your Nantucket visit is so short that you can only visit one shop, make it this one. It's just...magical, unlike any other. A truly remarkable range of wares on offer, belts, shoes, leather briefcases, handbags, and messenger bags, hats of all sorts, and of course the scrimshaw, probably the best selection in all of New England. Atmosphere is so quintessentially Nantucket, specifically the off-season vibe of autumn and winter, especially when the fireplace is lit. So by all means check it out, still owned by the Masters family who founded it ~half a century ago, and managed by a woman who's a direct patrilineal descendant of Tristram Coffin, the town's founder.”
“Excellent customer service! Great stop for iconic and cute Nantucket gear! The selection is like no other! I ordered a sweater online that I didn't grab while there and the ladies working were so nice! They sent measurements since the item I wanted was unisex, and offered to send photos. They also shipped out same day! Highly recommend making a stop here while on island (or if you're like me- online) Definitely recommend!”
“THE SUNKEN SHIP offer a wide variety of affordable souvenirs and some travel essentials like hats, scarves, etc. in case you forgot to pack something for your trip --- or the weather suddenly changed, as is likely here in Nantucket, and you were caught unawares and unprepared. Got my kitschy Christmas ornament here. They have a good selection of stickers too. Conveniently located where the ferries drop off passengers here in town.”

“I love this little place. I have a collection of their Christmas trees. They are absolutely one of my favorite indulgences for myself and I look forward to putting them out yearly. We also had a situation where I had bought and shipped a gift that was damaged en route. Tess made sure to go above and beyond in replacing and getting it to my friend for her birthday.”
