A package was not delivered to my house, even though it had been out for delivery. I called USPS and they advised it would be ready to pickup at the Federal St location. I went in to ask for my package, and the woman at the counter could not have been ruder. When I asked about picking up my package, she barked “That’s the South road location” and just walked away. Whoever the woman is that was working Monday, 8/16 around 1pm needs to go for recurrent training.

Something is going very wrong at this USPS office on the island. Months ago I sent mail to Nantucketers with the certified return receipt green cards only to have this post office not correctly deliver the mail and is now unresponsive when being contacted about where the green cards are! It does not take months for green cards to come back. They are not being responsive. The postmaster is not being responsive. I am leaving this review in the small hope that a responsible employee at this office will actually do their job.
