PAINFUL
Tried this salon twice. First time the man dug and dug into my skin. Second time a woman did it so painfully I had to say something (softly pleaded ) to let up. I will not go back.

I moved 45 minutes away and haven't found a salon who does even half as good a job so I still go there. They take the time to really clean up your nails and the polish is perfect and stays without lifting or chipping.

I booked a pedi and mani after viewing my pedi, I immediately cancelled my mani. I informed some woman at the front desk in hopes I would receive excellent customer service and fix the issue. Nope she chuckled. Hmmmm….Kind of unprofessional and uncouth. Now I will go home and fix their flaw

My regular visits to Black and White Nails have been an incredible experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, with a soundtrack of old songs that evoke nostalgia, making the experience even more special.The team of nail technicians is made up of highly skilled professionals, and while they may be a bit more reserved, I personally appreciate the calm atmosphere. They focus on their work and the quality of the services provided, which is evident in my results.Since I started getting my nails done every three weeks at Black and White Nails, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the health and length of my nails. I am very satisfied with the results, and my nails are now stronger and healthier than ever.I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking high-quality services. The attention given to nail health is remarkable, and the results speak for themselves. The nostalgic and relaxing atmosphere makes each visit a pleasant experience. Just be aware that the staff may seem a bit reserved, but their professionalism is unquestionable.Thank you, Black and White Nails, for taking such good care of my nails and for the exceptional experience you provide.

Wouldnt waste my time at an establishment that doesnt have the most recent in industry standards.Said they didnt do gel, only acrylic (I find that hard to believe from the reviews of the services) and that they dont have the tools take off my current set and redo them with acrylic. Honestly felt racially motivated and like they just didnt feel like dealing with someone despite the salon being almost empty.

I read all the reviews prior to going there. If I didn't have a gift card given to me by my boss, I probably wouldn't have gone at all. But because most of the negative reviews were 8 months or longer. I would give it a shot. Everything was ok, they were not very friendly, I wasn't looking for new friends so that was fine. I had a gift card for a mani/pedi told the man at the desk that was what I was there for and he told me to pick a color and pointed to the wall. Had my services and went to check out, I wanted to see if I could get a price list for services because they were not posted anywhere. Gave him my gift card and was about to ask, when he said that I owed more money for the color I chose, REALLY! I had chosen standard OPI nail color, I didn't get GEL nails or any thing extra. But he said that I chose a more expensive color, I asked where on the wall did it say that the color was more expensive than others. He said I should have asked .... I replied if its not posted someone should have told me! Needless to say no one was happy that day the girl that did my nails did not get the full amount of the tip I was going to give her, (not that she deserved what I was planning on giving her, I had to redo my cuticles,) because the extra cost came off cash tip. I wasn't going to ruin my special nail polish to get more cash. I left an called my co-worker who also received a Gift Card and warned her to ask how much her nail color is going to cost her before she has the services done.

I've been here twice for gel polish changes. Both times the (different) technicians were rough, squeezing my hands too hard and digging the polish off so that I thought my nails would be harmed. They only use manual nail files and they push hard. It's not relaxing. For my pedicure I was hurt several times when the woman was clipping my cuticles. When I jumped a little she reacted negatively. Then she spoke (not in English) about me to another tech working on the person next to me. The second technician looked up right at me so it was obvious they were talking about me. I cannot stand that. They use electric foot scrubbers/files that are not disinfected after each use. They used it on my feet and then wiped the top with a towel and put it back in its place never cleaning it again. I witnessed this on other stations too. During my pedicure an extremely frustrated, customer stood up and yelled "f-off"to the salon manager and left. No one reacted-they all just kept working!! The people working here do not seem to understand American culture. I will not be returning.

I walked into this establishment said hello instead of being greeted back they rudely ignored me. I don’t spend my money where I’m not wanted and today I clearly wasn’t wanted in their establishment. I will not return.

The best pedicure I've ever had!! I got a pedicure three weeks ago and was so impressed. The man who did my feet was so thorough and they still look incredible 3 weeks later!! Can't wait to come back.

I found out about this salon when I lived in Natick, I moved to Belmont 2 years ago, but I still get my nails done here, I have tried countless locations but have yet to find anyone who works like them,totally recommend ,100%

Less than a day after my pedicure here and at least 2 of my toes are infected. What at first seemed to be a very thorough job ended up being overkill and was painful too.
