As a customer for almost 20 years, the degrading customer experience and rudeness is so disappointing and unnecessary. Since they moved, the customer service and the attitude of some of the staff is incredulous for a small business. Do they want to succeed or not? One of the staff I believe is one of the owners and she couldn't care less to either assist you or be appreciative for your business. No smiles and greeting when you enter the store.I had questions about a product and I had to pull teeth to find out details. The staff does not seem happy to be working there and passes it onto the customer experience. Based on some recent reviews, I'm not the only one being treated like this. I recently found a wonderful small pet shop in Belmont and they are appreciative an eager to gain my business!

Go for the pet supplies, stay for the cats in the windows.
We got our two cats from the adoption organization located in Pet Word. It is run be a sweet lady who cares about not just getting cats adopted but with the right family.

Been using this pet store for 10 years. Has all the brands and cover all kinds of pets. The workers are very knowledgeable on all pets.
Recently moved to a larger store at the same location.

The women staff members who work here are absolutely ruthless. I have been to this store 5 times now and each time it has been the same workers. Each of the 5 times I left in awe. They treated me like garbage. Their attitude is disgusting. I feel horrible for the poor animals who are probably mistreated as well. It’s easy to say that I’m never stepping foot back in this store unless every single pet store on planet earth is closed and it’s my last resort to have to talk to these absolute unprofessional and disrespectful women.

This place is amazing! The amount of options you have is incredible! We have 2 Guinea pigs and I was in shock at all the options of toys and food they had. I was very impressed.

First time in their new location and what an up grade it was. A very well stocked store.But what really hasn't changed and what has always made this a truly wonderful store is the level of caring that the employees exhibit towards both their customers and their resident animals

Loved this place before they moved, and now they're even better. Small pet items are abundant here, and since the move, the fish section is now bigger. Don't worry about Blue because he moved too. ? They take pets seriously and know their stuff. Helping people find the tools to be the best responsible pet owners they can be. ? I know I'm trying, so I'm glad someplace has my back.

An amazing store. The folks who run the store are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The adoption agency within is high quality and professional. They have a huge selection and prices comparable or better than other chain stores. They have a discount program and they track company rewards programs for you for certain food brands. Stellar place, please use them!

Super friendly, locally owned business with an excellent selection of pet items. I got out of my way to get everything I can here, instead of online. It's a great new location too, and it's fun to browse.

I like this store, there is a lot of stuff for cats, nice toys, and you can also adopt a cat from there. However, the price point for everything is ridiculous, to my greatest regret. I have recently purchased a cat litter box from them, it was $63, and then I saw EXACTLY the same litter box on Amazon for $25… I understand that it’s a small loc business etc., but tuis kind of price difference is just not fair.
