My recent customer service experience with the tech department at the Natick store was so exceptional it prompted me to write. Having my work computer unexpectedly crash I was frazzled when I arrived at the tech help desk. Jeff was very patient giving me quite a bit of time trying to get my computer to reboot. We were only able to partially bring it back to life, but he was able to back up my files, which was a major relief. Needing an immediate solution to be able to get back to work, Jeff helped me find the best deal on replacement computer to meet my needs, and overnight had it set up with all my programs and files transferred over. Thomas, the dept. manager, also helped troubleshoot my old computer and suggested it may be covered under the insurance I had purchase over three years ago. To my surprise it is covered! Thomas helped me communicate with the insurance company, printed out the necessary paperwork and shipping label, and packaged up and mailed back my old computer for either repair or full replacement cost. When I mentioned my subscription to McAfee had just renewed last month he jumped on the phone to make sure I would receive full reimbursement. I have had a long running problem with my Staples Rewards account, having tried a couple of times in the past to get it corrected, without success. He made some calls on my behalf and got it straightened out without me having to do a thing. I have since returned to the store for help setting some things up on my new computer and Thomas got it up and running in no time and at no cost. My experience felt more like the personalized care I would expect from a mom and pop size store but certainly not a big box type store. My only concern is that should I need them again in the future, they will no longer be there. I hope Staples realizes what they have and are able to retain them.

Tom at this location, Staples Natick was very helpful and exceeded my expectations. I submitted an order online for a VERY important corporate booklet. Staples could have just printed as inputted, but Tom e-mailed then called me to explain that the laminated pages would mean the pages would then be larger than the plastic front and back covers. Tom asked me what this was for and then gave me a more appropriate order for my booklet goal. I wasn't charged anything extra for this update. I think Tom should be made CEO of the Staples Natick printing department! Go, Tom!

I got same-day business cards printed up at this Staples using one of their templates, and I was initially unhappy with the results. The print specialist at the store told me to call the toll-free number to get it straightened out. The person I talked with there spent maybe 90 minutes on the phone with me improving the design of the card; she obviously had a graphics design background and didn't just fix the one issue, but suggested improvements to the fonts, sizes, positioning, etc. In the end we had a two-sided design that was almost twice as expensive as the original I had paid for, which was printed up for free by the store. Staples really went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the finished product. Knowing that you can count on that is a rare and valuable thing.

Had my 118 page print ready and bound for me within 1 hour! Only cost about $26. Would definitely recommend the same day print center for your binding and other printing jobs. Friendly people too.

Store was clean and very well kept. As soon as I walked in, I felt as if I was not welcomed. A man who was an employee stopped in his tracks as I walked in and just kind of watched me walk over to the service desk. I waited in line to speak with the employee (I believe name tag said Bill) Bill who was helping another woman in front of me(Caucasian). Bill was very polite to the customer in front of me, greeting and politely ending the interaction as the customer walked away. Once it was my turn to approach, Bill immediately turned his face to an aggravated and unapproachable face. I still approached and said 'Good morning, how are you'. Bill did not reply. He just looked at me. So I then just went ahead to ask for assistance with scanning a document which included personal information for work. Bill said, do you need me to do that, I explained yes, I would appreciate the assistance because I had tried self scanning several times outside of staples but the client was still not receiving the documents. Bill rudely replied ' I have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 other things to do so I can't scan anything. You could come back when there's more employees here. ' I said okay, thank you have a good day'. Bill looked at me and walked away. I then asked to speak to a manager, who ended up being the employee who watched me when I walked into the store. The manager said the same thing Bill said to me. Which is fine, although in the 10 years of using staples to scan documents to clients, I have never experienced that. Even at the busiest stores. There were 4-5 employees standing around on their phones behind the desk and the manager just watching me or walking around, & about 3 customers in the store by this time(me being the only black person. I could not understand why no one could assist me in scanning 2 papers. I am writing this review because I felt very uncomfortable and not welcomed in the store because of the color of my skin. As an African American woman, I am just hoping and wishing for better/equal treatment for people who look like me. There was no compassion or enthusiasm to talk to or help me the same way I watched the employees interact with every Caucasian in the store.

Big well planned store layout. Helpful staff. Answered my questions in detail and helped me even before I asked for it. Sanitizers are available near the entrance in the store. I visit this store frequently for printing/scanning. Convenient location on Rt 9. Lot of restaurants and a big grocery store adjacent to it.

Good store for office supplies and location is great.
