For over 6 years now, Commonwealth Learning Center has consistently provided excellent individualized tutoring and academic support that has helped our child have proficiency and confidence in school. We appreciate how the tutors over the years got to know our child's specific needs and how they followed a plan of development but remained flexible enough to apply their development plan to real life school assignments. The CLC culture, while focused and skilled, enabled the tutors to work with our child's needs and communicate regularly with us as parents. We are grateful for the lasting impact and shudder to think of where our now high schooler would be without the investment of teachers and tutors and Commonwealth Learning Center. Thank you CLC!

My daughter has been at CLC for reading and writing for 2 years. They have been essential in her academic development and overall confidence as a student. She started while reading at 1st grade level while being in 5th grade. Now she is at grade level and looking forward to 7th grade. I love Elena. She's always flexible with payments and has a warm attitude when she calls. I will continue with them.

I can not say enough good thing about the commonwealth learning center and about my child's tutor Amy. my child was struggling with reading was diagnosed with dyslexia and was becoming so discouraged with his school. since Working with Amy his reading has improved tremendously and his confidence. Amy works so well with my child always keeps me up to date with everything they are working on and my child is comfortable working with her. We are so so happy with this learning center .

Can't recommend this place highly enough. My daughter, even after completing Kindergarten, was struggling to read even the most basic words. I knew something was wrong, as I have an older child who by first grade could read pretty well. She was making a lot of reversals (reading "on" and "no", "saw" as "was", etc), so I started to suspect dyslexia. I started calling around to places to see who could help her. I looked at places like Kumon, but that was basically just worksheets they send home. Finally, I found Commonwealth Learning Center, and I'm not exaggerating when I say they have changed my daughter's life. Her tutor is an amazingly wonderful woman named Amy who, by using the Orton Gillingham method, has taught my daughter to read fluently! I can't even begin to describe the difference after 8 months here. My daughter's classroom teacher has told me that she went from not participating at all during reading (because, basically she couldn't read) to volunteering to read sentences out loud to the class. It brings tears to my eyes to even think about it. Her confidence at school has soared! I cannot thank her wonderful tutor and all the staff at the Commonwealth Learning Center enough for what they do. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Commonwealth Learning has helped me work towards my goals. My goal has been to add a reading program to my skill set. Today I finished the first step to be certified in Orton Gillingham. I’m more than thrilled to be able to move onto the practicum in the fall.

My son has been with Commonwealth for 2 years and thru this epidemic they continue to go above and beyond to ensure my son continues to receive tutoring services. I feel so fortunate to have a knowledgeable, professional & understanding team working with him! Amie & Beth rock!

We have had a great experience with Commonwealth Learning Center in Needham. They were extremely accommodating with schedules and offered convenient times for tutoring sessions. The director, Alex, was fantastic--warm, supportive, experienced, knowledgeable, and responsive. The administrators, staff and tutors were very pleasant, professional, well informed, experienced and helpful! Their instruction and support were crucial in assisting my child progress through his current schooling. The tutors were able to relate well and work effectively with my child. In addition, CLC offers free workshops in the evenings for adults throughout each month that I have found to be well-organized, informative and helpful. We are so grateful for their help with our child and were very happy with our experience with them. We would recommend them highly!
