“I went to exchange a faulty screen printing kit, they were courteous and understanding. I appreciated the customer support. Will come back again for more supplies!”
“Purchased a beautiful walking liberty from their ebay store. The price was right and the coin I received was exactly as pictured. Couldn't be happier! Thanks Bellisario!”
“enchanting and special place where they welcome you with a warm hug and a happy invitation to learn and grow in the craft of knitting and crocheting it absolutely delightful experience”
“I had an exceptional experience with Colony Coin in Newton and cannot recommend them highly enough.
I brought in a large and varied collection that included U.S. gold and silver coins, non-precious-metal coins, U.S. currency, foreign coins and bills, and stamps. After I called to make an appointment, the owner personally spent nearly two hours with me, carefully and thoroughly going through everything I had brought in.
His knowledge is extraordinary, but what impressed me just as much was his obvious passion for what he does and his integrity. Throughout the entire process, he was completely transparent about values, what he could sell items for, and what his own margin would be. There were no games and no pressure—just straightforward, knowledgeable advice from someone who clearly knows this business inside and out.
In the end, he made me a fantastic offer for the collection, and I walked away feeling that I had been treated extremely fairly. He is friendly, engaging, and refreshingly direct—he tells you exactly what he thinks and why.
Selling a collection like this requires a great deal of trust, and I could not have been more pleased with the experience. If you have coins, currency, stamps, or a collection you are considering selling, Colony Coin in Newton would be my first recommendation. A truly first-rate business run by someone with tremendous knowledge and integrity.”
“Just picked up my custom framed art and I am very happy with the outcome and the entire process. Siuyien was very patient, professional and knowledgeable in helping me making decisions on the size, color, mats and placement, etc. I used to struggle on the purchasing of appropriate frames and mats online and in other art supply stores. I think from now on I will stay with this Michael's store. The experience was much easier than I anticipated and the outcome is better than what I hoped for. Thank you, Siuyien”
“I live very close to his shop and visit quite often. My favorite sports shop that I’ve ever gone to. Gary (the owner) is such a nice guy and gives you very good deals. I highly recommend.”
“i really liked this michaels because it had a lot of sales and i got so many useless things but like also im totally going to use them. i got a really cool rug that says “boots off!” and it was only $6!!! isn’t that crazy????”
“Arts & crafts galore, picture framing wonderland, and all the holiday decor you can think of. I just stopped by to see if they might have some cute Christmas-themed signs or trinkets for my new apartment and was blown away by the amount of stuff they had. Not to mention, the shelves were fully stocked for the most part!It felt like all the Christmas stuff was all on sale?? I mean everywhere I looked it was either 40% off, 50% off, or buy 1 get 1 50% off. Trouble for me that's for sure. This was a fabulous surprise. I went in looking for the possibility of some cute Christmas stuff, and left with and entire carriage full of stuff: a 7 foot fake tree, white lights and colored lights for my tree and to put up outside, garland for my fireplace that looked real and not tacky, a star topper, fake greenery to put in a vase, and more. The fake trees on display really take the cake here. They are all out on display the second you walk in, so you can get an idea to scale of what they look like with their lights on as well as the size and height of all them. They were on crazy sale and even without the sale it seemed like reasonable prices to me!I come here often throughout the year but this is the place to go if you're need something for the holidays!”

“Very small shop, but the owners are very nice, the street parking is pretty easy to come by and the selection of sealed magic the gathering product is probably the most extensive you will find in the greater area.”
“Jake in framing is excellent! She has helped me with 3 projects so far and is so knowledgeable, artistic and patient. You feel the pride she takes in her work and she's an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend her for any of your framing needs.”
