A great local alternative to the “Big Box” stores. Great selection of gardening tools/supplies, as well as most other trades. Pricing may be slightly higher, but well worth it for the convenient location and knowledgeable staff!

Needham Garden Center offers excellent customer service. I went to compare the price for an electric, 2-stage snowblower. I had priced the one I wanted at my local Lowe's.
Needham Garden matched Lowe's price, they assembled the snowblower and delivered it to my house two days later.
They also took my old heavy gas snowblower away at no extra charge.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
I've had my lawnmower and gas snowblower serviced there for many years.
It's always nice to buy from a small local business knowing they'll stand behind the products they sell.

I came here to repair my Ego blower. Took a long time vs what was initially mentioned. More importantly, my product picked up a ton of dust and scratches that were not there before. I don’t think this shop takes good care of products that come in for repairs.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge Matt. My blind brother and I visited the store in search of a RedMax Leaf Blower EBZ 9000 and a weed whacker. After some time without success, we continued to explore the store until we encountered Matt. We inquired about the items, and he promptly offered his assistance. His response was both swift and efficient. He ensured that the equipment was in good condition and took the time to demonstrate how to use it. Thanks to his exceptional support, we ended up purchasing two RedMax leaf blowers and two weed whackers. Matt's politeness and kindness truly stood out. His willingness to assist my blind brother meant a great deal to me. As a single mother, I have witnessed my brother's journey since he lost his vision at the age of six due to an accident. We often remind each other that one provides strength while the other offers sight. Together, we are working towards fulfilling our dreams by building a business. The outstanding help we received from Matt was invaluable to us. I wanted to share a bit of our story to ensure that Matt receives the recognition he deserves for providing such attentive service and creating a remarkable customer experience.

So thankful for Needham Garden & Hardware!! Sadly my snowblower wouldn’t start this morning. The Needham G&H crew came by, picked up, repaired and returned my snowblower within a few short hours of calling them!! They saved the day (and my back), could not have asked for a better experience!! 🙌

Great service. They picked up our 30+ yo snowblower to repair the starter. They noticed it ran rough and suggested a new carburetor. They repaired and delivered back. Ran it today and it hasn’t run this well in years. Reasonable price, and great customer service.

The Google description isn’t accurate— The store is now a full-fledged hardware store, with a range of products. The staff are lovely, helpful, and eager to solve customer hardware problems, even if with a low-cost or no-cost solution. Highly recommended!!!
