I've been going to Jack for repairs since we moved to Needham, 25 years ago. I quickly learned that I could trust him to tell me what needs to be done and, almost more importantly, what does NOT need to be done, at least not immediately. They often say 'that can wait until your next oil change' or something similar. They do good work and have fair prices. They have also, more than once, resolved an emergency for me. Amazing and kind treatment from the owner, Jack. My car engine died and he ordered me a new one and had it back to perfect the next day. So impressed with them. I highly recommend!

Waited 3 hours for an oil change. Invoice stated fluids check and tire pressure fill. Doubt they checked fluids and I know for a fact my tires weren't inflated whatsoever. Pathetic service.

Very kind people here! Came out and put air in my tires for me when my light came on unexpectedly during a snow storm, and I had no quarters to put in the machine. People are so rude these days, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice he was and willing to help. Thank you!!

Apparently MA no longer prints inspection forms which Uber requires. When I went back and explained the situation the man did print out my inspection form even though it is no longer policy to do so

Went in and asked if I could get a safety inspection. The mechanic told me there was one person ahead of me, kind of rudely told me to move my car back and wait -- I let that go as it wasn't a big deal, I was planning to have to wait and I was already planning to move my car .... so I got into my car moved it and waited. When he finally got to me, I said I also needed an oil change. The mechanic IMMEDIATELY was rude and said "you have to leave your car and wait!" So I asked how long and he yelled "I don't know!" So i got into my car and said I would go elsewhere. He then looked at me, gave a rude look, waved and said "Bye!" twice. I rolled down my window to ask what I did to cause him to be so rude, and he said I was being rude. I was definitely not rude, I asked how long I would need to leave it and he got angry. The other man said I should come earlier for an oil change and thats why he was rude. Had no idea that the words "can I also have my oil changed" would cause someone such angst. Save yourself the hassle of being yelled at and go elsewhere. And to this mechanic - I hope you find a way to improve yourself and your mood, no need to be this way to customers ever, let alone at 8am.Services: Auto maintenance

brought car there for an engine noise, and they diagnosed it immediately so I felt some obligation to have them do the job and not shop around. Boy, what a mistake. absolutely screwed me on the cost to replace an alternator. remanufacted too! could have had done for literally half the cost elesewhere and saved several hundred dollars.
