Just checked out my new local CVS. Happy to see it was clean, staff asked if my daughter and I needed help. Seems like they are well stocked if we ever need anything. Happy to see this is so close and well maintained.

This CVS is at the corners of Ashley Blvd and Tarkiln Hill Rd.
Speaking as a monthly CVS CARE MEMBER. I find this particular CVS nice,
big and well organized. My dealings with the staff have been mostly helpful. I do at times find the products a little bit higher priced at CVS, in general, than they are at other stores in the area.
I also find that unless you're using a coupon or the product is at a good sale price, you most likely can find the same item at a competitive price.
What makes CVS nice to shop at is the variety of different products that they offer. Some CVS stores have a better selection of items then other CVS stores, but I guess that's usually the case with most chain stores. I shop there mostly out of convenience.

Today I had to fill a prescription for my dog at CVS. I chose the one closest to me which was 786 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford. I have never been to this location before but I will go back. A young woman named Jasmine waited on me. The customer service she provided was exemplary. Although I didn’t interact with anyone else I felt a positive vibe. I don’t usually post reviews but they deserve 5 stars!

Store workers in the store January 29, 2023, prior 9 a.m. were excellent the one arriving for 9 a.m. needs an attitude adjustment. Blocking handicap spot preventing me from leaving, making a remark, but when I questioned her, she just went in. Eli would not approve I'm sure the store manager wouldn't either.

By far the worst pharmacy in the area. After being on hold for over 30 minutes twice, I decided to call and drive to the store at the same time. I was on hold for 51 minutes when I walked into store. After approaching the counter, I showed the tech my phone and informed her that I had been on hold for 51 minutes and I could see that 2 pharmacists and 5 techs and no one was answering the phones. She had no answer for me. My 86 year old mother had her medication “in process” for 5 days before I went to the pharmacy. Time to try another pharmacy

If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst service, rude, incompetent, and it doesn't seem like anybody really gives a shit. Nearly every time I come to pick up a prescription, I hear the pharmacy talking trash about the last customer. One time, I asked how to take a prescription that was prescribed to me. And the girl laughed in my face as if I was stupid and should have already knew. Or when I had to get a specific prescription for something that was already kind of embarrassing, It really seemed like she tried to let everybody in that building know with how loud and disgusted she was acting. Don't expect any of your personal prescriptions to be kept private, Because these people are laughing at you after you leave. Don't ever expect a prescription ready on time and don't rely on the text/call from the automated system. That place is run like they're in clicks in high school. In the year or so that I've had this pharmacy, Every single time going there has been an issue.

Sent a refill order over a week ago and pharmacy keeps lying about when it's ready. Reaching them over the phone is impossible. This place is a disaster and an example of how much CVS values money instead of their customers.
Please do yourself a favor, don't ever go to this location because you won't get what you need prescribed by your doctor.
