I went to the bank once a year to have a paper filled out for my lease. They want me to go online to get this paper filled out. I don't have online banking because I am old school. The paper only has 5 questions. I have talked to many of my friends and neighbors and there bank fills out this paper with no problems. Looks like it's time for a change. I have been with Santander for over 15 yrs

The most anti consumer bank I've dealt with, hear nothing but complaints about Santander. Make it extremely difficult to cash checks (Their Own ) here and force you to have your phone one you to take a picture of your license each time. OH!!! AND supposedly they won't be accepting CASH in the next couple years!!! Hahah if they're around for that long ?

I went to Santander bank on Thursday 3-9-2023 at 10:00am and told the front desk I would like to open a business account and asked how long it would take. She told me about an hour, so she scheduled me an appointment for 1:00pm the same day.I came back at 1:00pm and she woman apologized and said my appointment was pushed to 1:30pm. I was a little perturbed because I had to leave a meeting early to get to the bank on time. I voiced my disappointment and the lady apologized again.I left again and came back at 1:30pm. I sat and waited until 4:20pm, nearly 3 hours to open my business account, they denied my request for a business account. Their only reason to deny me? My nationality. Even though I am a US citizen and I live here. I own a house, I have a job and also I have a personal checking account and credit card _with them_.I was so shocked they _told me_ the decision of declining me a business checking account was due to “where I was born” as I can’t see how that would effect me as a person or as a customer to them.I called this morning to ask if my documents were approved and they said the lady was busy and would call me back,she called after one hour just to tell me again it’s because of my Syrian background I got restricted.I feel like this is discrimination and racism. I feel disrespected and degraded as a US citizen _and_ a complete law abiding citizen. I respect the law, the police, I pay my taxes on time, I have great credit and I’m helpful in my community. There is no reason for them deny me and base the reason on my ethnic background.

The atm in the building lobby used to except deposits, it doesn’t anymore. The bank used to answer their phone, I tried several times and no one answers. Maybe once the pandemic is over they’ll get better but taking services away from the community isn’t a good way to have your customers hold faith in you.

Unfortunately the weather was freezing today. I was downtown and had an abatment check from the irs under 200.00$ I went to bank of America across from terminal they are temporarily closed wich was not posted on the Google website so I walked to webster bank a few streets over to find out that location closed on April 9th so my hands red like fire from the cold rainy weather I walked over to sovereign I was welcomed when I walked in by both associates only to he told he had to check with an associate in the side room if they could cash this check reminder it is written from the US. TREASURES OFFICE. To be told they dont cash those checks .unfortunately for them I am looking for a bank to start an account with and it will not be them nor Bank of America but that is a diffrent review . I than walked to Bay coast Bank and they were wonderful, pleasant , cashed my check no problem and did not charge me a fee wich most banks will do if you dont have an account with them . Needless to say this is where I am opening my account and will be writing an amazing 5 star review for BayCoast Bank on elm street

I have a HELOC account with Santander. I sent my boyfriend to make a Principal Only payment on January 19th. Due to misreading the screen, the teller made the Feb. 2018 payment instead. It took until Jan. 22, 2018 to correct this error since the 2/9/18 payment hadn't even been mailed yet. The next week, on the 24th I received extra money in my paycheck so I decided to make another payment on the Principal balance. Yep, you guessed it...same branch(Kempton Street), same mistake. Tellers and customer service staff can't fix it and here we are on the 30th of January, 2018 and it's still not fixed. Staff not trained, no one uses common sense. Mistake not my fault except maybe I shouldn't have trusted them to do the job properly.

The staff on this branch are very helpful and polite. However, I would like to mention a very recent experience that I had with the manager of the bank, Nancy Cabral. I was very pleased with her professionalism. Shes listens carefully, and quickly comprehends our issues or complex matters... On my view she demonstrates a high level of competency in the skills and knowledge required. Also, she answered my two voicemails on same day and rapidly! I opened a business banking account with Santander based on friend's reviews and experiences. I have to say, I have not been disappointed. From the moment I entered the branch, I was greeted with a warm 'Hello' and was offered quick and friendly service. All of the services were explained to me and I was never made to feel bad for asking questions or searching for more explanations. I do wish Santander had a better mobile experience for their business customers as it is near impossible to check my account balance online and there is no app for business customers that I am aware of.

Awesome staff. Very helpful. Stacy, Greta, NIcole, And Kelly I was very pleased and great professionalism. Seeing how they were with my aunt is the biggest reason why I changed banks. Thank You. And to the indivdual that help get my aunt get a copy of the 1099 mail out. Thank you

This is the slowest bank. 2 tellers and they took 10 minutes to cash a check for an account holder. Then they take a business account deposit. I have been waiting for30 minutes. Go to bank of america or a local bank.

Clean and friendly. I don't prefer this bank as a company though. OPEN SUNDAYS is a BIG bonus.
