Really cool old U.S. Post Office — has that classic government building look from the outside. There’s convenient parking right out front and along the street. No line when I went, and the inside is huge. Super quick and easy visit — just had to ship something off and I was in and out in under five minutes. Service was kind

Never using this post office again. I never got a tracking update after dropping off my shipment other than the one indicating they received it. I called the USPS support phone and opened a ticket and was told I could go on-site to inquire further. When I arrived on-site they had me write all my info on a sticky note and told me they would follow up in 48 hours before sending me an email a week later saying they have nothing there dated from my date of drop off. I guess my package just vanished?

It's is pretty sad wen u have a letter & the post man automatically drops a I'm sorry we missed u postal!! Wen in reality they never knock @ ur door & I was home? It's sad that mow I have 2 leave my house & go all the way 2 the post office the next day 2 get my letter sumthing has 2 be done about this ?? Strait laziness on the postal worker !!!

I absolutely love the historic building that this post office is housed in. It almost feels like you’re entering a regal museum. The clerk that helped me was super friendly and pleasant to deal with. Big thumbs up ??

I don't know what that girl Marie's issue is, but clearly she needs to be retrained. If someone is asking for something you don't do, you offer the next closest thing POLITELY. I was told by one of the truck drivers that I could go in and ask for a specific package to be held, to just have my ID and tracking number ready, and Marie treated me like some kind of idiot. She was extremely condescending when she said "We don't just hold one package. We only hold all your mail for three days." I've worked in customer service for over a decade, and I know she SHOULD have said, "I can hold all your mail for three days instead! Can I have your name and address?" But she didn't. Instead she talked down to me, and then had the audacity to say I should be smarter and get a PO Box so I don't have to worry about my packages being stolen. I refuse to spend a cent on this post office as long as she's still working here, which is ironic because I was going to ask the package to be held AND get a PO Box for the future.
TL;DR: Get better customer service training. Politeness in this country is seemingly non-existing.

I recently moved to New Bedford and was excited to get rid of my expensive post office box. I pay $135.00 2X a year.I cannot prove that my upstairs neighbor is breaking into my mail box at my new apartment. The post office managers have been super helpful in allowing me to hold my mail. The New Bedford Police could care less. I had to purchase a surveillance system to catch him in the act. While picking up my mail one of the desk postal workers told me that "they" know it is me messing with my mail box at my apartment. Why would I bring this stress to myself? She was so rude that it took me back. Today I reported her to the management. This is a terrible stereotypical postal worker. I am sure that there are good people that work there but this woman is to be avoided at all costs!!! Would give no stars if that was an option

Staff so rude it’s unbelievable! They must hate their job because they all look so miserable. So impatient and rude. Probably doesn’t know the word “polite” and “ proper customer service “. Worst of the worst.
