“Prices aside, it is 2024 and honestly nobody knows what the actual factor is.
I have a conflicted opinion about Bucciarelli’s. Part of me feels it is just cashing in on being an Italian Deli/Market but it is absolutely not cashing in on being a butchery. They know their cuts and everything that comes with it.
The deli has been hit or miss for me where at times they know the difference between Genoa and Hard salame and when they don’t know how cappicola should be sliced. But I will say pickles and olives do not belong on an Italian deli sandwich ? the people in there have always been nice and -this is the most important part- receptive to any and all issues that come up. Just talk to them about it while you are there. Don’t drag em on a review for the public to see a tit-for-tat.”
“Went to the butchery in Newburyport tonight. I was looking for a pork cutlets. There was none in the case. I asked the butcher and he happily cut me six beautiful cutlets. He was very happy to do this and even came to find me in the store and asked if they were thin enough for me. Just when I think customer service has gone by the wayside I was very impressed by the service I got I did not get his name, but he had a Red Sox cap on.”
