The store is clean, organized, and well-stocked, with a wide selection of products including a bakery, deli, and meat and seafood department. One reviewer was impressed when the store manager, Rick, personally delivered an order to a homebound senior customer after a delivery service failed to do so. Another customer had a great experience when a staff member helped them find a sale item they were looking for. Reviewers also highlight the excellent sushi and the convenient online ordering and delivery options through Grocery Delivery and DriveUp & Go.
While the store is generally praised, one customer suggested adding more cashiers or baggers during busy evening hours. Overall, the Shaw's location in Newburyport is regarded as the best in the region, with friendlier and more professional staff than the neighboring Market Basket. Customers appreciate the store's commitment to providing a positive shopping experience and meeting their grocery needs.
Great shop, often not very busy, good fresh veggies and fruit. Cut flowers are good.

Love shopping here as it’s never busy and grocery shopping is much more of a pleasant experience; went tonight and I have to note that Sherry was extremely pleasant when checking out; she surely cares about the customers and it shows. This is why I continue to shop here!
