“Annette not only runs a beautifully curated shop, but her sales are equally thoughtfully organized, fair, and full of amazing finds. Expect to find everything from everyday items to antiques. It’s clear she puts real care into how everything is presented, and she's always kind and approachable. She clearly respects both the families she works with and the buyers she welcomes. Shopping with her is always a positive experience, and I can’t recommend checking out either enough!”
“a welcoming and rewarding spot for vintage lovers! The shop is organized into a few connected rooms, with more precious items in glass display cases, but most items closely arranged on shelves, tables, and all other available surfaces (many of which are themselves also vintage pieces for sale!) in a way that invites you to explore every corner of the shop. The staff are also friendly and very helpful.”
“Fantastic and unique store offering tons of maps and transit related items alongside other interesting antiques. It's very cool to find a gift store that is so focused on transit, it's a unique concept and worth a visit. Plus if you love maps you can spend hours just browsing.”
“A gem of a place. Quality people doing quality work. I asked them to glue up and refinish my reproduction antique tabletop. The purpose of the glue up was to turn the 4 pieces of the top into a solid piece. I had removed the skirt before bringing the pieces in. Dan Jr sent me back home for the skirt and they ended up fabricating the pieces to make a full 360 degree skirt. It looks amazing. Then they finished it all with a nice mahogany color stain and light gloss urethane.”
“I have been hanging onto my childhood bureau, from the 60's. Needless to say,it has traveled and moved with me for over 50 years. My dream was to , one day, have it restored to the beauty it once was. Anthony's made that dream come true. I never expected , the bureau to look this amazing. I applaud Anthony, his gift, and the care that was given to this piece of furniture. I love it. I highly recomend Anthonys Furniture Co.”
“I have purchased many beautiful items from All That Matters. Ursula, the owner, has wonderful taste in everything from jewelry to all kinds of furniture. All That Matters also has great Christmas gifts and decorations.”

“Great store the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have purchased many items throughout years and have been extremely satisfied with every purchase. You cannot beat the quality of the merchandise and the prices are very reasonable.”
“Such an amazing shop, with the warmest and most helpful customer service you can imagine. Getting our fire tools and firewood holder here was such a wonderful experience. This is one of those local gems that you don't want to miss.”
“Excellent professional service. Job well-done. Selection of available frames is a bit limited, however. We selected one frame that had to be ordered but never came in. The second frame we chose was supposed to be available within a week but took more than another month for our piece to be ready. Some of this may have been due to low inventories at suppliers due to Covid, and The Frame Gallery did a very good job keeping us informed about delays. All-in-all, we will definitely use them in the future and recommend them with the above qualifier.”
“I had to take some time to write this and help promote Janice and Cal's cute little antique business in beacon hill. they are the sweetest elderly couple, super knowledgeable and explained to me the history behind each of their pieces. shop has a lot to offer but specializes in antique procelains. I bought a beautifulChinese embroidery from them 2 yrs ago and my mom got a pair of Dresden Lamb cup sets today. both will be treasured for years to come. makes me sad that there isn't more shops like this in this mass produced world.(the husband got yelled at for giving us too much of a discount so l gotta help him out here lol)”

“Cool spot. Cool finds. We pop in from time to time to see what’s new. Furniture selection tends to be a little more rundown or beat up than I’d generally go for. But so many other neat things.”
“My daughter and I stumbled upon Bartevian while visiting Emerson College. Patricia went through her life story in great detail. She has clearly seen it all. We were happy to buy a book from her. The store is full of old-time nik naks. This place is worth a visit.”

“Big Picture Framing (Derek at Belmont location) helped me with a difficult, small, dramatic oil painting. Derek really listens, provides relevant options for matting and framing, has a keen eye, and offers keen, sensitive advice if asked. The result with my small painting was amazing!! I sent a photo to the artist who was impressed and delighted. I have a modest art collection. I'm choosy about who frames it. I highly recco Big Picture in Belmont.”
“Had the pleasure to talk with Wayne, who quickly helped me figure out what to do about a 100+ year old gramophone I had. Really honest and kind, and helped me out a whole lot. If you’re trying to figure out what to do with some old antiques and collectibles, a definitely recommend contacting central mass auctions!”
“Didnt wanna leave a bad review cuz i didnt go in but i reccomend you update google if youre gonna be closing down for a while, i drove all the way out here when it said it was open and it was closed”
“I used this expert before, most satisfied always. Today I stopped by with two minor problems, it was fixed on the spot and no charge to boot. This gentleman is a gem, I will recommend him wholeheartedly.”
“I had a great experience today purchasing a lampshade for an unusually sized and shaped lamp. I had previously gone online and had all the measurements for what should work, but I decided it was better to talk with an expert who could make a recommendation. That’s what I got and I am very happy with my purchase. It’s the value you don’t get online, full service, no wasted packaging, and supporting local business.”

“I have visited this lovey shop off and on for 5 or more years! Joanne is a lovely women with a good eye for picking merchandise that is not soon in any of the stores large and small in our area! There is parking in 2 lots in the area or you can go by bus! The outside decor catches your eye! You want to go in with the window displays she does! Check this shop out!”

Go here!Updated: just purchased a beautiful dining table and they offered to deliver it on the same day at a very reasonable price. Score!”

“awesome vintage shop located in Allston!
Friendly staff and a chill environment make it a pleasure to sort through from the 80s and 90s .
Lots of fashions from decades past including baggy jeans and silk jackets from the 80s.
