I enjoyed the Mexican mocha and cranberry/orange scone, and I got a toy truck for my friend's little one. “This children’s bookstore is absolutely outstanding! Every child’s birthday gift I give now includes a book from here. Michelle always has the most amazing recommendations, I can simply walk in and say, “I need a few books for a seven-year-old’s birthday,” and instantly she has so many wonderful options ready for me.

“Anime Zakka is a nice store located near the end of Newbury Street, close to Uniqlo and Muji. It is below ground, leading you into a place to be immersed by anime and Japanese pop culture.
I enjoyed browsing and wandering around the store, as there were many products I’ve never heard of or seen. I found Tomica cars, a product I’ve never seen in Boston before but know many car collectors may enjoy looking at. I also found many stuffed animals I never knew existed for products I like, such as Miffy.
The only downside is the products I did know were overpriced. I am a big fan of collecting lottery items, and they were nearly double the price at the store compared to what I could buy it for at online retailers.”

“I attended the fabric ornament-making workshop at Maxima Gift Center and absolutely loved it! We created beautiful handmade ornaments by pinning fabric onto foam balls, such a fun and relaxing process. Our instructor, Candace, was wonderful. She explained each step clearly and was right there to help whenever we got stuck.
I left with one finished ornament and a full kit to make another at home. Highly recommended!”

“I have been in this store twice in the past 2 weeks and both times Olive was working. She was absolutely wonderful! I had so many questions about certain items and she answered them plus some . Olive made me feel so comfortable I didn’t want to leave and just keep shopping. The store was very clean and very organized. Everyone that walked in was greeted and welcomed with a beautiful smile from her. These days great customer service is hard to come by . “Lots of options. Very organized and youre able to try some fidgets before you buy them, which is nice. They have puzzles, games, fidgets, stuffed animals, Legos, etc. I will definitely be coming back but it was a little overpriced - I spent almost $30 on 2 items.”
