“Parking on the weekends can be challenging. But the real challenge is Needham Street, which is under perennial construction. Road hazards are aplenty. The shopping center itself is fine once you find a parking spot. My favs are Boston Ski and Tennis and TJ-Maxx. Dave's chicken is great but the place can get dirty during busy hours.”

“I can't believe it took me this long to make my way out to Bow Market. This is such a great place to do a food crawl. Even in the cold winter months, it was quite lively on a Saturday afternoon; I can only imagine how busy it gets during the summer. There are a bunch of food/drink pop-ups, mixed with retail and arts/entertainment stores. All of them are quite small, but there is plenty of seating in the center. You can eat, chill, or people-watch.There is metered parking, but it was all taken when I went, so I recommend going early to beat the crowd or expect to park further and walk.”

“"Assembly Row"has come a long way since the neglected parking lots that catered to "Good Times" and the busted version of the new and improved movie theater has taken residence. So many different shops and places have taken over and you wonder how they crammed so much entertainment and shops into such a space that once seemed so small and abandoned."Assembly Row"was lit up like a winter wonderland. The majority of it was closed once we got out of the movies which was well after 9:00 but it was still beautiful to walk through. Very festive. Classy. That crisp, fresh air and jolly atmosphere. Christmas music dancing from the sky.By sky, I mean their well placed speaker systems;) The setting was nostalgic in an excitedly festive way.I wish everything stayed open a bit later, atleast for December.I am disappointed that "The Christmas Tree Shop"has went out of business. That was an oldie and a goodie. What is this world coming to?First the Dollar Store goes up a quarter but maintains their misleading name, and now this!Hahaha.I'm still trying to come to grips with the fact that "Building 19"was never replaced by anything even half as good. ;(The "Assembly Row" area still has a lot of versatility when it comes to shopping despite the loss of the bargain hunting once done at "The Christmas Tree Shop."There is the"Burlington Coat Factory,""Bed and Bath,"" T.J Maxx" or was it "HomeGoods" or both? There are some designer stores. I would check on those if you were going through for those specific reason.Amongst other things like,"Lego Land,""Row Hotel""Home Depot"The movies, the built in parking lot......a little free library book house.Benches to sit and wait if you don't want to go into the stores with your wife, husband, mistress, husband's mistress or whoever.;)Well lit area even, beyond the seasonal lights. Also, a lot of places to eat or grab a drink.Just so much more to offer than back in the day.”

“I really like this mall. It has shoppable stores for every budget and it’s bright, spacious, and clean. I’d check out the directory before going so you know where to head. Parking is expensive. You’re definitely paying for the convenience. Overall 4.5 stars”

“Meadow, Glen Plaza at friends that work at a Meadow Glen plaza. It’s great place to come spend some time when you have nothing to do. Most importantly I go there because of Kohl’s Kohl’s is one of my favorites when I go to Somerville.”

“I love this mall, we go at least once a week. Grassfields is kinda expensive, but really good. I usually eat there once a year. But the plaza has USPS full serve Post Office, as well as FedEx, The Paper Store (always great finds) Dunkies ( my go to) as well as BK( that location treats us well), TJ Maxx (they change there products pretty regularly), a dry cleaner, dentist, and a liquor store ( I don't drink..sorry- but my inlaws like it, well enough). Oh yeah a hairdresser, my mother in law frequents, Verizon, AAA with a full service license service if you HAVE Triple A, was worth it for me!, and a small bank. Think I got them all.. lol.”

“It's great to get some essentials and more. Very well stocked and fast lines, plus autoservice to pay. Also, pharmacy employees are very nice, and they provide you service with almost a smile on their face”

“You can call it open shopping complex or a mall. One can enjoy shopping branded clothes, footwear, cosmetics and other stuff. Can even enjoy just taking a walk. Nice place to visit. There is also a multiplex to enjoy movies with family and friends. I just love this place.”

“Clean, fast service, wish they had more options when it comes to carribean seasonings but other than that amazing. I love their hot pizzas too. Their bathrooms are super clean and comfortable”

“5-stars for the sheltered walk-through, which is pretty much all this place is good for now. My grandfather lived in Back Bay when I was growing up and when I went to school in Boston. This was a gorgeous mall when it was new. There was a huge multi-story central area with a fountain back in the day. What happened to that? That was the best part of the mall. Also, the stores in the mall back then were stores for everyone. The stores here now cater to the top 1%. Back Bay is definitely not what it was decades ago. I don’t understand why people change wonderful things to make them worse.”

“Great place to shop being everything mostly but clothes. You will find clothes in the plaza but for you best interest I'd recommend going to Kohls or Marshall's just a few blocks away from here”

“Great movie theater and really good restaurants. Not a lot of offer for shopping outside of Marshals and Old Navy. They have plenty of parking but the layout is a bit of a nightmare.”

“Visited Wegmans. Parked near the Beer and Liquor entrance. Elevator to the subterranean main store. Packed with goods but so dismal. Clearly no daylight. Depressing settings.”

“It's a small town shopping center. But it's nice. Stop by the deli by the gas station if it's open (rarely is)... Great sandwiches. Otherwise there's a Roche bros, CVS, Starbucks, and cottage restaurant. Across the street there are a few more restaurants, banks, and a tatte bakery. Probably a few other things I'm missing. The gas station is full service, but a great place to get service done (particularly inspections if you live nearby or are willing to kill 30 minutes in the neighborhood deli).”

“This place is adorable! They have little games and sitting areas outside! We checked out shake shack and it was delicious! They also have legal seafood over here which is a must try!!”

“Area is well lite, just be mindful of hours of operation as each store differs. Street lights turned OFF at 10pm, so later walks may not be lit. This area has a great medley of shops so great for those staying in close hotels but there are other close outlets.”

“Kendall Square is a collection of imposing buildings housing mostly Biotech companies. Marriott is located close to the T Station. Saliently located on the Red line and close to Boston downtown”

“Stopped in Donut Villa for 1/2 dozen donuts. This is the go-to place for them. The only place I get them. They are big and crunchy and always fresh. They do have some vegan and designer donuts, but I stick to the originals. The food is good too. My favorite is the BLT.”

“It's a little difficult to go there, every time I go by Uber they don't know how to get there, I go to the veterinarian in that mall (Banfiel pet hospital), I love it because they take good care of my kittens. ???”

“I trust MC, as opposed to BB. The staff actually are well versed in product knowledge. When making a larger purchase you are introduced to a manager, and return policy is very generous, without having to buy BB very expensive Extended Policy.”

“My friends and I had a couple bags in mind to check out. This mall is made to be convenient with the parking lot connected saving the hassle of being exposed to the harsh elements of New England. That is if you're able to find it as the winding streets of Boston get confusing quick. Will come again!”

“The man that works there is really nice and the convienance foid there is actually fresher then most prices are the same as any other store, only thing i really like is that it's open after midnight.”

“My fiancé shops at DXL for clothes and it’s very well kept store. It’s always clean and nice shopping experience. We also go to Carter’s here to shop for our son. Both locations have a great selection and friendly staff. Plenty of parking.”

4.2 Good43 Reviews

“It’s a lot better than it used to be, mostly full with stores, and yet I miss papa Gino’s. Without Whole Foods, not sure it would exist. Somehow still feels empty, and exiting the plaza is often a harrowing experience as route 3 is busy and the exit blindish.”

“You can find everything in one place! MF donalds and dunkin, as well as Marshalls, heck you can even get a haircut from Supercuts! You can do shopping at Dollar Tree or Star Market - and there is parking!!!”

“Basic busy strip mall with Whole Foods, McDs, Staples, TJ Maxx etc. Directly across from another strip mall with CVS, Trader Joes, etc. So convenient. Crowded but parking is available.”

“I am a fan of this Lowes. It has a good selection and many times I have ended up chatting and laughing with the folks in the paint department. It must be the fumes, always a fun time there! Haha. A guy in lumber and plumbing also very helpful. It could use better inventory management bc sometimes out of things, but often there are other choices. Good easy parking.”

“It seems like madness at first when you stop at a light but when the light changes and you're going into traffic it is fun and safe also you should stay in your lane.”

“Awesome area to shop in! There are plenty of nice places to shop and eat. This place is sort of tucked away off of I95 on Needham Street/Highland Avenue. Five Guys Burgers is in this area, too! Stop and Shop has a nice little "healthy" super market where you can buy lots of healthy foods. There are also auto parts shops and a couple of Jiffy Lube type places to have your oil changed. This is an "upscale" area as is all of Newton/Needham. The only issue is the massive road construction on Highland Avenue. It is a MAJOR PROBLEM!!! I have no idea when they are supposed to complete the project, but, the road is almost impassable. It really is in awful shape due to the construction. We can only hope and pray that when it is finally completed, that they will COMPLETEY REPAVE this road (Highland Avenue) so it is paved with fresh, new sparkling clean asphalt. How refreshing that would be for the people who live, work and shop in this area.”
