Terrible. This place is not run well at all. I have had the same prescription for over ten years. When going for a check up they both kept changing my prescription and then mis-measured my glasses. I had to go back 5 times ultimately just giving up. Go to real doctor not a franchise.

This will probably deal with the newton location because it seems short staffed with doctors and careless with customer service. It started with trying to get a available appointment to getting appointments to having doctors cancel appointments. Please be aware if you choose this location you gamble the chance of wasting your time and to only get a reply of a meaningless apology…. And on top of that im still waiting on a pair of glasses I ordered 4 weeks ago when they told me it be done in 2….. think twice before booking with them

I had a great first experience with Dr. Zachwieja. I didn’t have to wait since I filled all my documents ahead of time online. She helped give me a much needed new prescription and let me know I have astigmatism. My new contacts were ordered quickly for me and I will definitely be coming back for my next annual exam.

I originally scheduled an appointment for Monday 7/31 but they rescheduled it the morning of the appointment. Then I go in Saturday 8/12 for the rescheduled appointment to walk into an empty office with only one person saying that I must have MISSED their phone call to reschedule again, he then continued making up excuses and told me he will call me back asap. He has yet to follow up with a call to reschedule. I even got a confirmation text last night that my appointment is for 8/12… I would recommend you to avoid this location.

Had such a good expetience here on 8/15/23. Everybody was super helpful and patient with me. I hadnt been to the eye doctors in a minute so had tons of questions and genuinely felt so at ease and cared for. I didnt catch the name of the person who checked me in (my apologies but she had dark curly hair), but her, Zac, and Dr. Zachwieja were all super helpful and nice. Grateful for the care and kindness I was shown by the staff!

My family has been coming to Newton Optica for over 10 years, they have outfitted us with eye glasses and contact lenses. Not only is the medical care unsurpassed, but I am so appreciative of the front office staff. Biara is particularly responsive, helpful and pleasant. I feel lucky to have found a place where everyone who works there truly does their very best!

The people that work here are so nice and helpful. They know just what you are looking for and they will tell you what looks good and what doesn’t look good. The prices are fair.

Of all the places I've been to. This is the worst. They promised me glasses in two weeks but I didn't get it until week 5. They didn't provide me with any updates. I had to personally track them down. Also when I logged into my account and it says my glasses were ready, I went to the store only for them to tell me the info I saw online was not accurate. It's very frustrating. I am only sorry that I could not get a refund so I could go to Pearl Vision instead. They have lost this customer forever. From now on, I will either go to Pearl Vision or some other local store for my glasses.

I haven’t been to the eye Dr. In a while and am happy I chose Dr. Kristine Ulip. The entire team was kind, thoughtful and thorough. They answered some questions I had in addition to helping me find the perfect new glasses (and sunglasses)! Thank you!
