stopped in here while doing a job in Newton. The staff was very friendly knowledgeable and had exactly what I needed. I would recommend to anyone. Keep small hardware stores in business and don’t shop at the big guys. We need shops like Schwartz Ace Hardware.

Prices are fine, of course a big box store is cheaper, but this is more convenient than driving further. Marshall is very nice and helpful. Good gas tank filling service also. Good tools if I forgot to mention.

I've been going to Swartz Hardware for over 25 years and greatly appreciate their service. Recently I needed to match a paint color on an an irregularly-shaped fragment I chipped out of our basement foundation wall. I brought the fragment to Swartz Hardware. Marshall in the paint department went to great lengths to match the color. The color match turned out to be perfect. Thanks Marshall, and thank you Swartz Hardware.

Terrible customer service, rude manager!This is the 2nd time I’ve gone to Swartz Ace Hardware and have been unable to use coupon received in the mail. Asked to speak to manager, he kept telling me the coupon has already been used…I had just received it 2 days prior, then he told me it was expired, expiration date says 01/30/24, when I pointed this out he was back to I had used it already. I also had a coupon in my Ace Harware App, tried to use that, he told me it was online only when it specifically says online or in store. Finally gave up and paid full price. Won’t be going back there, I’ll travel to Ace in Belmont!!!
