I have been seeing Merri for hair cuts and color for several years now. She does amazing work making my hair look naturally gorgeous with her balayage! The staff at Blondie are very knowledgeable and friendly and the new remodel makes it feel as high class as it is. If you're looking for a welcoming salon that does consistently great work, this is your place!

I’m not going to name names or anything but just because you dyed your own hair and went to hair school does not mean you should ever be allowed to dye other people’s hair. Horrible experience

After trying several high-end salons and master stylists when I moved back to Boston, I finally found Merri—and I couldn’t be happier. She truly listens and takes the time to understand precisely what you want. I gave her the formula from my previous stylist, which I was already happy with, and she offered a few thoughtful suggestions that took it to the next level. The result? By far the most beautiful hair color I’ve had in years.

Excellent blowout from Lisa M. She was so thorough with my thick, curly hair. I will definitely come back. Blondies is bright, clean, and offers great services at a fair price for Newton!

Been coming for a few years or so now- I’m biased but Lisa P is my favorite! A pro with my color and extensions and always helps me fill in the blanks when I’m not sure what I’m asking for. Every stylist I encounter when in is always sweet and fun. I moved to the North Shore and still come here.

I was greeted warmly by Lydia and immediately felt like a V.I.P.. She is a highly skilled Aesthetician who provided a comprehensive and calming facial. It was an amazing experience!

Went to Blondie Salon today for the first time. I had a facial with Lydia and it was one of the best I have had. When she explained why she selected the product she used - she was very thoughtful about it based on her analysis of my skin. Her facial massage was VERY relaxing. I also love the product. Not as goopy as the products used in other facials I have had. I have sensitive skin there was no stinging and my skin feels hydrated, firm and smooth. It glows! I will be back.

Today, I had a beautiful facial with Lydia and it was wonderful!! Lydia is VERY knowledgeable and my skin looks and feels fantastic. She took time answering my questions and the treatment was relaxing. Def recommend Lydia for anyone looking for treatments.

Kaitlyn was great for my first facial - the signature bliss. Super helpful in explaining everything, tips for my specific skin, wasn't pushy on any products and not judgmental on my skin care routine :) It was super relaxing, and wasn't rushed. I have sensitive skin, so it took about 48hours for redness to go away, but very plump and clean!

I had a facial with Kaitlyn, she was fantastic! I have very sensitive skin and she was so careful about which products she used on me. She took time to explain what each of them did for my skin and all the benefits. First time I've ever had a facial without having a bad reaction. I'll definitely be back!

This salon is really cute. The staff are super attentive and always checking in to see if you need a drink or snack! Tamryn is such an amazing stylist. I followed her from another salon because she always aces it. I’m obsessed with my color and cut!

Sean is an absolute star. I hadn’t colored my hair in almost a year after a traumatic experience (we’ve all been there!) and so, when I moved to Newton, I did my homework. Sean gave me two unbelievable cut & style’s before we did our first color sesh today and I am over the moon. He is kind & pays such attention to what you are trying to achieve. Can’t say enough great things about Sean and this salon!
I’m getting married in the fall & Sean and I have already discussed our maintenance/color plan as we approach the wedding date. Could not be more pleased!
