My son had 5 prescriptions called in post surgery that included pain medicines and antibiotics. The prescriptions were called in at approximately 5pm. I arrived at the store at 6:30 pm and was told that there were "too many prescriptions" and that because they were short staffed they would be unable to fill them before their 7:00 closing time. Seriously? This is a customer/patient with post -op pain and an incision. How is this legal or ethical? A pharmacy should be obligated to be staffed correctly to meet the needs of patients, just like hospitals are legislated to do with ICU nursing staff.

This Cvs moved to Washington St. This Cvs does not fill Prescriptions on time. The last time I had an Rx I waited three days. This time the turnaround is over 24 hours so I transferred the Rx to Brighton store. The pharmacy should be stocked and ready to fill Rx immediately. They show no courtesy to those in need so they should not be doing pharmacy business. The Brighton pharmacy had the meds and can fill immediately. Has cvs gotten too big? Cardinal Health needs to review these bad practices and start focusing on the consumers health

I am realizing that most of the stuff i need i can get from amazon. With no prescription, annoying health insurance, and amazon doesnt seem bothered when I place an order. Buisness has a funny way of weeding out the unessessary. The reason i mention this, is.because i need to put sterile saline in my contacts to wear them. Cvs wants a prescription for sterile water and for me to pay 30 dollars with health insurance. Amazon wants 14 and no prescription. For someone who requires this to see and live a normal life, im appauled at the medical and pharmaceutical companies who diacontinued making sterile saline non presrciption, which i liken to you being able to drink water with/without prescription, but also at the individual pharmacy that cannot sell you the sterile saline. Thank god for amazon. Even in mexico I could buy this. Its embarrassing living in America Where you need a prescription for sterile water because people want to make a little.more.money. Yet somehow amazon can save the day again. Thanks amazon, thanks for nothing cvs. The v used to mean value. Maybe amazon should just buy cvs. Thats where the value is.

I wanted to take the time to write a review for one of your cashiers, Nathan, who was extremely helpful to me over the weekend. He was pleasant, efficient, and helpful with my coupons. When I returned to the store to make a return, he was patient, calm and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Keep hiring great staff like Nathan!

I was going to start this review by saying that this CVS might be the worst business in America, but I think it's disingenuous to call this CVS a business. A business implies that they serve a purpose. That's not true for this location. In fact, I have switched my whole families prescriptions to a different company because I couldn't take this location anymore. I'll spare you the details on every trip, but this last one was the final straw after waiting for a prescriptions for 20 minutes, I get to the front of the line and low and behold, the "system crashes" and they inform me that it will be another 20 minutes of waiting. Yes. 40 minutes to pick up an already called in and filled script. Something that should take 30 seconds. Unfortunately, this is the norm and not the exception for this location. It seems the interview process to become an associate here consists of one and only one question: "Do you hate humanity and want people to suffer on a daily basis"? If you answer "yes" then congratulations, you are now employed at your dream job. As for me, I am out of here. I'd rather make my own medications in my kitchen using only household cleaners then refill my prescriptions here ever again.

One of the more "original" CVS locations. Extremely small in comparison to many of the other CVS locations around. Minimal selection and cramped aisles. On the bright side, the manager, Dave, is super friendly, kind and helpful in resolving issues. The staff seem to live by the true CVS motto of "the customer comes first". I do appreciate that... I just cannot get past the extreme limitations in terms of variety, stock, parking, and aisle size. You cannot have two carriages in any of the aisles, they are seriously like one way streets! Very limited parking and you will most likely have a decent walk from wherever you are able to find a spot. Since they don't have deep shelves things go out of stock quickly and are not restocked since they don't have much storage either. All departments only have the bare minimum and nothing more. With all of my expectations, in comparison to all nearby stores, I will be making the drive to either the Newton Centre, West Newton, or Route 9 stores. There are WAY too many CVS' locations within five minutes from here to make this store feasible. Not detestable, but seriously should be avoided for anyone looking for anything specific that they need. I don't consider this location reliable for really anything. Again, there are at least five other CVS stores within five minutes of here (and three Walgreens). 2 stars.

Pharmacy never answers the phone in the morning

Tried calling to see if they had a flu shot and got put on hold. Hung up after 27 minutes of waiting. Called the front desk on another line while I was waiting- no one picked up there either. Never been thrilled with the customer service there but this was absolutely ridiculous! If you are open - answer the phone.

Do not use this pharmacy. I just had a prescription filled and they gave me 2 tubes of a medicated cream (which will take me at least a year to use up), and when I got home I found the expiration date was only 2 months from now! When I brought them back to CVS (with boxes and tubes still sealed) to exchange them for tubes that were not about to expire, they not only refused, but also acted like there was something wrong with me for thinking this was not okay. I will never use this pharmacy again, and if you care about getting medications that are fresh and not about to expire, I'd recommend that you don't either.
