Just as bad as the other CVS down the street.I was hoping I could get away from the dysfunctional pit of despair that is my original CVS on Washington Street in Newtonville but I could have known that whatever malady of apathy and incompetence that had overtaken the one store would inevitably infect its neighbors.They never answer the phone. They constantly have a line extending long into the store. They take forever to do anything and act like the patients are unreasonable for expecting to get their medication the same day it was prescribed.It doesn't take a team of crack scientists to scoop pills into bottles and push a few buttons on a computer. There was a homeless guy sleeping outside who could probably use a job and he's just as qualified as anyone else to do a little scooping.I'm beyond disgusted with this entire company. Don't even bother going to the entire chain of CVS stores or you might catch whatever brain parasite is turning the staff into mouth breathing troglodytes.

Pharmacy has incredibly long lines, inefficient procedures for transactions, and card readers that do not work. I feel very bad for the employees who work at this pharmacy. They are very overworked.

They are awful, rude, and seem to delight in torturing people. They take days to process critical medications but when you show up at their pick up counter they lie and promise you that your prescription can be picked up in 30 minutes. The only time they answer their phone is at 1:30 and that's to tell you that it's 1:30 and they take their lunch break at 1:30 so I'll call back later. And then they promptly hang up. Forget about trying to get through later.

This pharmacy is consistently disappointing. While standing there they told me to have my doctor who was on the phone with me call them, and then literally ignored the phone while it rang repeatedly while he did and I stood there. They left the phone ringing for twenty minutes while talking to their coworker that is leaving and saying "they will miss but they'll still be hearing from on the phone if they do the transfers." This is not only disrespectful to the customers but also to the prescribing doctors that follow the directions they give. My doctor spent 20+ minutes away from patients trying to get through. 3 other frustrated customers walked away as well today alone- one was an upset elderly man saying he did not know where the other location was, and they did not care or help him. I've never had a positive experience here and would not recommend using this cvs location. It just happened to be closest to my doctors office. The parking lot is big but somehow is always hard to find parking. There is always a long line and wait as well.

Comprised solely of the most incompetent, unhelpful people you will ever meet. I am absolutely stupefied by the groups complete inability to perform the most basic, menial tasks while still having the audacity to literally close the door in your face(mid-conversation) because they need every second of their lunch break.*only at the pharmacy

I consistently have bad experiences here. Meds rarely ready on time, the advice they provide about insurance coverage is wrong, long waits and an overall painful reminder about the shortcomings of our health care system. Run far. Run fast.

This review is for the pharmacy, specifically about the insanely long wait times in person and hold times on the phone. I wait at a minimum 45 minutes either way. The pharmacy manager Gabby Dall is ALWAYS rude, not even her coworkers like her. No one will approach her. She needs to work an overnight shift in a hospital where she has no interaction with other human beings. We can only thank goodness she's a pharmacist and not a doctor, because she lacks all ability to communicate professionally. It's only a reflection on the company as a whole to let this continue. Calls to corporate fall on deaf ears with zero response or return calls. Not surprisingly, this review is not the only one of its kind. Huge problem in West Newton! Maybe it's time to change to Keyes Pharmacy in Auburndale.

has everything a girl would need (buzzy bum/tush cush) 10/10got loads of food allong side the obvs pharmacy items and water bottles - dont buy red vines tho they taste like medicine but makes sense cuz pharmacy

There is a difference between understaffed and incompetent. Unfortunately this pharmacy has gone so far under they should probably just close. Maybe it's management or the pharmacists being over worked but ultimately they had zero respect for individuals from what I experienced while waiting in their for over an hour yesterday and sitting on hold for 40 minutes today only to be told they want ME to call my doctor to confirm something.... ??? Keyes drugs is right up the street and insanely better. Just sayin'

Worst pharmacy. Period. People do not realize that CVS is a big and expensive convenience store operated at their wimp. 1. Apparently management decided to cut their payroll and introduced lunch break. They decided they will take a lunch from 1:30 till 2pm. I pointed on the sign stating no lunch time. Pharmacist replied \" I wish we could change the sign, we are doing this one year now. ONE YEAR AND THEY DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO REPLACE HOURS! 2. You RX is never ready at the time they send you text message. They always make a mistake , ask your to play full amount then apply for reimbursement, etc...

This is the worst pharmacy experience that I've ever had to endure. I've been going to this CVS pharmacy for years due to convenience and have never had a pleasant experience. There are always MAX two people working, a line around the store for pick-ups, and don't even think about calling because you'll be on old for 3 hours. Not to mention, this pharmacy has messed up my prescription on multiple occasions. HORRIBLE.
