This place is amazing. Only gripe is that they’re not open on weekends. Otherwise, they have the best meatball/cutlet/etc. subs in the greater Boston area

Delicious Italian sausages home made in house! Great service, too. Fabulous cuts of meat. I love their steaks! I noticed some of their specialty cuts of pork and veal. Every kind of pasta and pantry items. Cheeses and Italian cookies and sweets. Looks like I’ll have to have friends over for dinner!

Amazing hoagies - the best I’ve had outside of Philly. Very good hoagie roll, which is hard to come by in Boston metro area. Recommend calling ahead rather than ordering in person as shop is fairly small. Nice selection of Italian groceries as well.

Great little sandwich shop with the best locally produced sausages. Very friendly, easy to park outside, had a nice selection of food and some essentials also (pasta, sauce beer etc.) I had the hot sausage with peppers and onions and kiddo had the sweet sausage sandwich, both very enjoyable.

I haven't been here in about 16 years, it warmed my heart to see all the same people and even a very similar floor plan. Now, the food ?I got the meatball parm sub and tortellini pasta salad. Still the same high quality ingredients in the meatball. The sauce was amazing, such incredible flavor and perfectly balanced. Thanks so much to the amazing team and family at Depasquale's!

My father raved about this place, but I was not impressed...even though I didn't even eat the food I bought!Cashier had an attitude from the get go.I wanted an eggplant sandwich, but they didn't have any.She suggested chicken parm, but I said I am vegetarian.I ordered a grilled veggie wrap. 4 customers came in and ordered after me, all of whom got their sandwiches before me. When I asked about my order, I got an attitude from another worker.Eventually I saw the cook start my order. When I saw him put the veggies on the same grill that he had just made chicken and meat sandwiches I nearly lost my mind.I took my older without complaining but threw it in the trash. When someone says they're vegetarian, you might want to tell them how the sandwich is prepared, or at least ask the chef to separate it. This is 2021, and there are many vegetarian people.

By far the best italian sub anywhere in Massachusetts. The meatball subs and chicken cutlets are just as great. A few years back they had a young women helping them cook but she moved on to do something else. This is when she helped doing all the cooking and I would get a big slice of lasagna to go along with my sub and some meatballs to go and to enjoy later that night or the next day. Good help is near impossible to find during Covid. But it is still Nolstagic to get this great sub and to say hello to Steve and his wife and son who work so tirelessly to provide a great place in the heart of Newton. I hope this place last's another 30 years.

We’ve been going here for years, mostly for the Richie’s slush, but also the sausages are actually amazing and the people who work here are the best.
